Good wood - I’ve seen a few amazing farmhouse & barn conversions and here’s another beauty. The ‘Townships Farmhouse’ in Montreal by Toronto based architects LAMAS. It was commissioned by an artist and a farmer with long ties to the area. Inspired by old agricultural buildings in Quebec, their brief was for a building that reflected their interest in land conservation and the preservation of agricultural buildings.

The hardest thing you have to do is say goodbye

For me it's not hard to meet new people, it's not hard to get close with someone and it's not hard to make memories. But, what is hard for me is saying goodbye. You are not only saying goodbye to a person, you are saying goodbye to a soul that once touched yours, you are saying goodbye to memories, pictures, letters, text messages, moments, precious moments that defined who you are today. And the worst part about saying goodbye is that you are also saying goodbye to a piece of you, a piece your heart, a piece of your life, of your soul. You are saying goodbye to what once was and what will be. And the next time you meet someone new, you will be more scared of the last goodbye than you will be of your first hello. Saying goodbye is the hardest thing you have to do.
