Had a revelation recently and thought it might help other people too.
There is absolutely NO shame in having a ton of projects on the go and switching between or even dropping them on a whim.
Hobbies are meant to be FUN.
You can have 20 writing projects, or knitting, or whatever your thing is, and putting them down for a bit or abandoning them is a-okay.
I personally would never think that someone who started playing a video game and then decided to play another before it was finished was a quitter, so why am I so judgemental towards myself?
Doing your hobbies in a way that brings you joy isn't selfish or weak, it's...literally the whole point of them. Go nuts!
I just think it’s important to understand that “you’re always going to be mentally ill” isn’t the same thing as “you’re always going to be unhappy”
Imho the idea of ‘cruelty free’ products or food shouldn’t mean that nothing died to create it, but rather that anything and anyone involved in the creation process hasn’t been exploited or harmed.
Leather is good actually. Veganism isn’t the end all be all to morality and consumption. The issue isn’t that a chicken died for those nuggets, but that while the chicken was alive, it’s life fucking sucked. Vegan chocolate means little if the cocoa that made it was gathered by child slave labor.
Factory farms, abuses of the people who pick the fruit and vegetables we eat, the focus profit and productivity over all else - that’s the fucking issue here. It’s capitalism folks.
Please stop blorbofying the President of Ukraine.
Blorbo from your shows is in a T.V. show. This is real life. Stop treating him like a blorbo from your shows.
see this?
stop that. stop that right the fuck now.
gods, yes. i’ve just seen this and had the exact same conclusion but lacked the words
capitalism got y'all good you guys are literally incapable of processing reality outside of your little mass media consumer products

one of my friends is a very pregnant dog and like 3 times a day i say to her “hello! you are full of several other smaller dogs!” and she wags her entire body at me like “it’s true!!! i contain multitudes”
i love that ur friend is the pregnant dog. what a nice friend to have.
ya she’s my buddy i love her!
update: there were five (5) smaller dogs inside my dog friend, but now they are all outside of her instead (!!)
GREAT UPDATE NOW YOU HAVE SIX FRIENDS!!!
ya they’re my buddies i love them!!!!!
i found my new favorite post on this website
i dont want to be an adult i want to go to the shiny secondhand trinkets store and spend seven hundred dollars

i genuinely think that dnd media scratches an itch in a person for a slightly shitty kind of story. i think dnd media is shitty in a way that is deeply compelling
like i think the problem with a lot of modern media is that it is technically very good but it has no heart. dnd media is all heart and makes no fucking sense. but its closer to sitting around a campfire and making some shit up, which i think is the primal state of making up a story
Jack Black photographed by Martin Schoeller
“aren’t you tired of being nice” no!!!! i’m tired of everyone else being mean!!!!!!!!
i'm doing a bahumia relisten and honestly, jv is like a speedrun of the dnd trope of goofy dumbass joke character who makes you cry 50 sessions in. why does his final ep choke me up
jv's final scene literally brought me closer to tears than deadeye's, jake is underrated as an almost zac oyama style sniper where he just sneaks up with a single sentence that absolutely kills you dead
wish I was at one of those medieval combat full contact larp events where people bull rush each other in full armor and try to crack each other’s heads open with axes
Yet Another year when I am not at a medieval combat full contact larp event where people crack each other’s heads open with axes
@theshitpostcalligrapher man…
Brian Murphy somehow made one of the most himbo characters to ever himbo on Dimension 20, rivaling only Ricky matsui himself in levels of sheer good-hearted dumbassery, and STILL managed to get Barry to fit into the grizzled old knight who just wants to do his duty archetype
I am in awe of his power
BAAAAARRRRRYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God can you imagine if Donald Trump became president? There’d be like a new bubonic plague and he’d be like “idk drink bleach about it”
Throwback to when I took acid for the first time in 2013 and predicted the events of 2020 like the fucking oracle of Delphi
