you can hear the small branch of the tree hitting your dorm window. what else didn’t help was that your roommate seulgi, was getting it in with her boyfriend for the third time of the night.
all you wanted was quiet.
so here you were throwing on a hoodie, quietly tip toeing out of your room to the front door. Thankfully the dim lights of the neon signs from the streets lit up your way to the park where you sat on a bench watching the stars.
“yn..?” you heard a voice come out. a rather bigger figure peeled out of the shadows to disguise himself as no other than Kim Taehyung.
Ah...your “ex” best friend. the one who you grew up with playing in the grass to sitting on the roof after your first breakup. he was always there. but just like some people high school threw you apart. more like tore you apart..after his first girlfriend.

“w-what about you..? why are you out..?” he turned to you pushing a piece of hair out of his face.
“ Jungkook is out at a party and well...you know how i feel about homework on the weekends” you nodded. He watched the small giggle that left your lips. It made his heart beat a little faster
The wind picked up a little, the cold breeze made you shiver. glancing at your phone you noticed a text from seulgi asking you where you ran off to.
“well..i should get back up to my room...it was nice talking to you tae, i miss our small conversations.” you looked up at him. geez he’s gotten so tall what the hell.
“i’ll walk with you..our dorms are practically right next to each other.”
you both walked in unison back upstairs. after bidding each other goodnight you unlock the door to the most weirdest sight you’ve ever seen.
“OMG JUNGKOOK- SEULGI I AM SO SORRY” you sulked on the door quickly closing it. lucky you heard clothes being put back on and watched a very embarrassed jungkook run out and into the dorm he shared with taehyung.

looking at the clock jungkook rushes in.

walking back into your dorm you find seulgi already picking out her outfit for tomorrow night.
“thank god your not making me wear a dress” you sigh happily as she looks through her clothes.
“yes. i am not making you wear a dress but i do want you to feel and look hot as fuck okay..? besides it’ll be freezing. i’m just happy its inside and jungkook offered to take us.” she smiled...and then you reminded yourself that taehyung likes someone so make sure to keep distance.
that night you could barely get any sleep. it was kinda rough tossing and turning until you finally got the moment to close to your eyes and drift into the abyss of your mind.
your mind flowed through the thoughts of what jungkook was actually talking about. that’s what kept you up. who was she..? and you didn’t know seulgi and kook were a thing. yes. they lived a few doors down but how did you miss that?
Seulgi finally pounced in your room at exactly 9:45 am.
“ohhh ynnn” she sang as she swung the door open.
you mumbled something un-audible and turns back around.

delicately taking your time showering and throwing on whatever clothes you and seulgi showed up to the small cafe where yoongi and hobi were sitting in the corner.
“yn! seulgi!” hobi jumped up hugged you both and proceeded to sit down.
“hey. and hi yoongs” you smiled as chuckled and sunk into his chair.
“so...are you guys going to jimins and jins party later on?” yoongi broke the silence.
“yeah...we are why what’s up?” seulgi cocked an eyebrow at yoongi.
“geez i was just wondering. seeing as a lot of people got invited. you know how much i hate crowds” yoongi whined.
“it’s okay yoongi. i’ll be by your side through the night. i don’t really like drinking that much anyways.” you smiled and watched his face peel up.
“thanks yn.” he said quietly sipping on his drink.
It was about 11:30 am when you finished the small get together by now you are quietly tucked into bed taking yet another nap because you kinda absolutely dreaded having to go to this party. Yes fall was your favorite season but couldn’t you find an excuse to go?
laughter is heard from the living room assuming that’s it’s seulgi watching tv you didn’t realize that you laid down in a pair of shorts and a sports bra not giving a flying fuck as you swung the door open.
“oh...yn...hi” taehyung and jungkook looked up from your door to find you frozen with a messy bun, no makeup and barely any clothes to be exact.
“hi...someone didn’t tell me we had guest-” you eyed seulgi.
“yn do you know what time it is?” you looked at your phone.
shit. i slept for that long?
“...my alarm didn’t go off fu-” you yawned and ushered yourself into the bathroom to quickly shower dust on makeup and finally get dressed.
After looking at your outfit the ripped jeans, crop with a sweater you step out to only find tae.
“they left already so i decided to wait for you..come on let’s go..!” he pulled your arm grabbed the essentials you needed and ushered you towards his car.
the drive wasn’t that bad...the flashing lights of the street signs lit up in pretty colors, the sky a nice shade of orange and purples as the sun cascades down to the horizon.
arriving at the small get together jimin has really out done himself. you two both loved fall so the outside was decorated with fairy lights, gg there’s a couple people stuck outside sitting down. but once inside it’s beautiful.
“ynn! tae! you made it!!” jimin and seulgi walked together handing you cups finding you in a seat in the kitchen.
your propped on the counter, taehyung close by while jungkooks arms are wrapped around seulgi and jimin left casually chatting with him and namjoon.
About 10 minutes later you eventually find yoongi and hobi chatting with a few girls that popped up and you were getting tired of this party. just like that a signal sent to taehyungs brain which led you two ditching the party.
Taehyung sat in the drivers seat while you sat and listened to all the weird stories he had to tell which in all honesty made you laugh so hard you started crying.
“she really asked you that?” you managed to get out while fighting the urge to take in a breath.
“yes yn! what the fuck am i suppose to say to that?!” he looked at your figures hunched in the seat giggling away it was cute in his eyes.
“w-why are you staring at me like that t-taehyung?” you looked at him wiping the left over tears.
“Watching the stars.” he replied pulling up onto the parking lot of the cliff on the outskirts of town.
It was a beautiful sight. breath taking. you both stepped out of the car taehyung pulling himself to lay on the roof of his car while you struggled to get up there.
“it’s not my fault your short baby cakes” he laughed, the way your face lit up when you finally made it up...it made his heart swirl.
You both lay down on the roof gazing up. A light flashed in the sky. a shooting star..
“quick yn make a wish” he chuckled.
“make one with me..” your eyes locked on the sight above you.
Taehyung closed his eyes. his wish was simple. He wished that he could relieve this moment over and over, your pretty form next to him, head on his shoulder..although he’d argue the stars are never nearly as pretty as you but there was a second part to his wish.
He wishes he could be blessed with the courage of telling you how he’s felt. How his feelings for you grew deeper everytime your eyes lit up and held a smile, or when he makes you food and you tell him how he’d make a good boyfriend, or when he creates a new painting or takes pictures you compliment it all the time never with the same words.
You on the other hand...you wanted to tell taehyung that he’s the most wonderful person ever..how you felt whenever he’s around, the aura he projects off and it bounces onto you, how much you love his boxy smile when you pop up in the room it makes your stomach flutter with excitement. but then again you go back to the moment when jk came in the room
