Everything is going very well, honestly today I just got an amazing opportunity to speak with someone high up in the industry I'm attempting to enter once I graduate college. So, I'm great, but super busy. That doesnt mean I havent been working on Encomium, its just been slower. Thank you for checking in, you're awesome man and I hope things are going good for you.

in the ask about Eclo’s age you said you made a chart, is it something you’d be willing to post?:0 I’m curious about age hcs in general!

Oh I almost forgot to answer this, yeah! I can yap a bit! So, in my two big fic projects specific ages will never be written. Like there won't be a paragraph with '[blank] is five years older than me, making them 27' or something. The point of this was mostly to separate the generations. Anyway here's the chart (a shitty screenshot)

I hc that Hearthians have longer lifespans than us (humans) so in their 80's they aren't actively turning to dust. (In Hearthian culture no one actually knows how long Hearthians can live because they'd die (from other reasons) before reaching that point!) Also please note from the perspective of everyone but the time buddies, Feldspar is another tally for those who have passed away!

Its four am and I woke up just to say I fucked up the ages. I was adjusting the age difference and didnt correct. Never rely on my maths, also the half circles are my own code, just you wait I am cooking up some good fics. Hopefully written not when its 4 am and I'm vaguely sick, or maybe thats the secret method to good writing, delirium.

The big thing that matters is that the founders generation are decently into adulthood, beginning or have already started to take over for the Tectonic guys. Chert's generation ranges from 'I'm in my mid twentys and I should have things figured out' to 'I'm twenty now! My whole life is figured out!' And both are lost in some way. And the completely blocked out generation is my own outer wilds ocs that I will hopefully soon post about after I finish chapter 6. After trying to wrangle cannon characters in my fic to feel like their in game counter parts I am exicted to write something where I dont have to viciously track the outer wilds wiki so dialogue feels matched.

hi again!! thank you so much, 22. What is your hatchlings favourite space tool? It's a tie between scout launcher and signal scope. One helps them not die from ghost matter or test the safety of the environment, and the other reminds them of the breathing souls still existing out there. 34. Which lost loved-one is the hardest for your hatchling to process? All of them. Eclo does not know how to let go. To ramble slightly, I do super super appreciate all the kind comments. I hit a rough patch recently with Encomium, and it's really really awesome to go back and see all the nice things people say. I finished Chapter 6, then realized it wasn't up to my standards and I have restarted, but since then I am so excited to finish this chapter. I am very very proud of what I have.
