I’m generally baffled by the fact that people think Charlie is gonna kick Alastor out of the hotel or cut him out or want him dead!
Adam literally directly targeted her and the hotel for no other reason than to get back at her for daring to go against him. He came at her with no remorse, no mercy, no empathy.
He tried to kill all her friends, succeeded in causing the death of one of them (Dazzle) and technically killed another (Pentious) and was implied to have kill one more (Alastor).
He directly tied to kill her….
And she still stopped Lucifer from beating him up worse. She still thought he’d had enough. She still wanted to let him live.
She still refers to Niffty killing Adam as tragic.
Even when Vox targeted Heaven, had lost his mind, was leveling the city, and killing droves of sinners, she never thought to target him with lethal force.
And these were her villians. People directly hindering her goal. People who didn’t give a shit about her or the people she cares about. People she couldn’t stand.
And she still chose mercy.
And yet people think that ALASTOR is destined to be the one that finally shows Charlie that not everyone can be saved???
Alastor is gonna be the ONE exception to her merciful nature?
Alastor, who is her friend?
Alastor, who she cares about?
Alastor, who she worries for?
Alastor, who is most likely the most supportive role model she’s ever had?
Alastor, who was the first person to sponsor ? The reason the Hotel stood even a slight chance against Adam?
Alastor, who she admits made things that were hard easier??
Alastor, who Viv, Amir and Erika have said holds a special bond with her?
Charlie’s gonna wash her hands with him and throw him outta the hotel?
The very same hotel where she stood ten toes down in front of Vox and said,
“I believe anyone can be redeemed.”
That’s what she’s gonna do?
