here's what I'm working on for the battle system 3 defensive minigames, and 1 offensive veritile minigame

essentially this is my idea on what could have happened to kick off deltarun/ the disappearance of dess Holiday...

what we know is:

1. Catti and Kris supposedly summoned a demon

2. Catti also cares for noelle, wanting to preserve her innocence.

3. Kris went to therapy for somthing traumatic, possibly noelle too, as we see her repress things in the Weirdroute by forgetting; somthing that probably started here.

4. image.friend has ties to the prophecy (the hell's crawl/the tail, etc)

cat petters (linking up with its cat-like apearence and its orb like tail)

and it's appearance resembles both a devil and a cat.

the roots prophecy: resembling the entrance to the shelter path.

5. the tree connecting to the /thepoorchildren/ side from the sweepstakes.

and perhaps is what Kris is using to suppress the memory themselves.

6. this event is clearly traumatic to Kris and noelle ( but not catti? which is why I left her at the home)

and if this event scared Kris, and friend is a demon/devil,

I could see this being the event that made Kris get rid of their headband.

7. asgore is there because if he saw this.. it would make sence about people distancing from him and perhaps the loss of his job, cus if you said "a demon ate dess and dragged her into the bunker" you'd be treated like a crazy dude.

In your bug game, you should have a character who wears a cocoon like a backpack, and when all seems lost a badass moth / butterfly busts out of it to save everyone. Yup.
