think about a character from a kids show. is there any canon (as in it appears in the show) angst? is there certain episodes or scenes in which the character has clear insecurities or sorrows?

if the answer is no, go online and search up the characters name with the word "angst" behind it.

there will most likely be people making fanmade angst.

coming from someone who does this, know that people will dissect every little detail about any character ever. eeeever. character is always jolly and full of whimsy? suppressed sadness/anger. character is part of a reaccuring gag where theyre consistently forgotten or insulted? they actually really hate it and it gets to them a lot.

if you want to make a show or game or comic or god forbid a BOOK, because i do see this a lot in books, know this. these types of people are real and exist.

and i am one of them. :)

my advice? make canon angst so no one accidentally OOCs your characters. also for the cool edits
