It is absolutely diabolical that Netflix cancelled The Bastard Son and the Devil Himself. I have literally never seen a single piece of media, much less tv show, handle polyamory so well, and I actually can’t think of any shows with canon polyamorous relationships in them, much less the poc main character, queer main characters, brilliant script and plot, and thrillingly realistic gore and dialogue. Netflix waited forty days and saw that a show that was given zero advertisement hadn’t become a Wednesday level hit and they cancelled it, even with so much amazing stuff going for it, and I’m fucking fuming.
