I’m going to Disneyland!!!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to post here to share my Disneyland app for iOS with you all! It is called "Waitline: Disneyland Edition and is a eye-spy/trivia type game meant to be played while waiting in line at Disneyland! For the next few days I will be in Disneyland with my family promoting the app! I will be there on Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday! (We are going to Knotts on Sunday) If you are in the park look for us and come say Hi! We will all be wearing green shirts with the Waitline: Disneyland Edition Logo on them! I will also be wearing a Randomland hat to support Justin Scarred and make me easier to spot! It would be super awesome to meet some of you in the park and talk to you! So Whats Next?

I haven't stopped creating content for Waitline. I just haven't been posting as frequently because right now I am working on another Waitline app. This one should release in a few weeks if it all goes through. In the mean time make sure to go and answer some questions on "Waitline: Disneyland Edition".

If your having problems

If anyone is having a issue with the app just delete it and redownload it. Adding scores to the game cause some problems updating. But once it is reinstalled it will run perfectly! Sorry for the inconvenience! 🤓 I also have some more articles, pictures, and videos that I'm getting ready to post!

Hey everyone! I wanted to take some time to say thank you for following and looking at my content. I have been really busy with new updates and bug fixes, so thank you for being patient with me! I wanted to also tell you that i have found out that Tumblr operates completely different than any other social network community that I am a part of, mainly there are way more explicit accounts and people spam liking to draw more traffic to their page. The hashtag I have noticed brings the most spammers is Tomorrowland because of the EDM festival. But again, thank you to all of you who follow and play Waitline! Sharing Disney magic is the reason I do what I do!

App Version 4.0

A new feature coming to Waitline: Disneyland Edition 4.0 that I have wanted to have in the app since I first started dreaming it up. You now earn points for the questions you answer correctly so you can compete with friends. It will release soon!

Double Dumbo?

The other day I was watching a YouTube video of someone in Disney world. They were in Fantasyland and showed that they had 2 Dumbo attractions right next to each other! I know that millions of people already knew about this but it for some reason surprised me! I mean they have twice as many elephants as Disneyland!!! That's awesome!!! 🐘🐘🐘

Unless you visit the Jungle Cruise often you may miss that the skipper driving the boat is Skipper Adam. Adam is one of the funniest skippers on the attraction right now and there are plenty of videos up on Youtube showing him lead people through the dangerous jungles of Adventureland. It’s great to have the Jungle Cruise back from its seemingly incredibly long refurbishment to help stabilize the loading docks and give the animals some refurb time. It’s almost time for the Jungle Cruise to get it’s Christmas overlay again and become the Jingle Cruise!

For so long I had no idea that this little pond was once part of an attraction. It wasn’t until I saw a Randomland by Justin Scarred about the Motorboat Cruise that I realized that this is where the attraction was. I hurried and took these photos one morning before anyone could get back to it’s a small world to get in the picture. The only thing that would have made the top picture better would have been if the Monorail were passing by. I will work on an article about the Motorboat Cruise soon because of how interesting its history is and how you can still walk on its old loading dock.

I miss seeing the paddles moving on the Mark Twain and being able to step aboard for a trip around Tom Sawyer Island. This attraction was one of Walt’s favorites and was an opening day attraction. It was completely assembled at the Disney Studios in Burbank and then taken apart to be reassembled at the park and hasn’t left since.

New Update!

There is a new update available from the app store that now has ads. I know that ads aren't the funnest thing to see in a app but having them in Waitline will allow me to spend more time on the app and the content that I write for the app. Right now there is a California Adventure Version in the works. Thanks for all of your support!

These guys were the BEST! If you don’t know who they are then you have missed out on one of the funniest groups to play at Disneyland. These guys were known as Billy Hill and the Hillbillies, and everyone one of them were named Billy. This video was taken by myself in the Golden Horseshoe Saloon near the end of the Hillbillies run. I have some pictures, that I will share in another post, of the Billy Hill playing in a special but now extinct venue in the park. For awhile during the transition between the Hillbillies and the Laughing Stock show they played at the Big Thunder Ranch, where Star Wars Land is currently being built. This show ran from 1986 to 2014. If you are like me and miss seeing the Hillbillies you can still see them at Knotts Berry Farm occasionally on the weekends and all throughout the summer. But at Knotts they are called Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies and they play in the theater in Ghost Town. I loved going and seeing their show in August especially because it was incredibly similar to their show at Disneyland.

Disneyland Photos/Videos

I have only been using personal photos and videos for all of my Waitline social media and though I have tons more to post and share I want to have others submit to me some of their photos/videos along with an article or story. They don’t have to be pictures like the ones I take with no people in them. They can be pictures of your family or friends in front of the castle, selfies, or any thing in the park. Captain  EO, along with many other shows and movie previews, have called the Tomorrowland Magic Eye Theater home. The Magic Eye Theater first opened in 1986, prior to that there was a stage there for bands to perform much like the Tomorrowland Terrace that we know today. Many of the shows that perform in the Theater are in 4D so that means not only is the image 3D but the Theater also shakes, the seats feel like there are things in them, the floor feels like there are things moving under it and many other things. The technology that is used in the Theater is also used in multiple theaters in DCA, like the Bugs Life Theater and the former Muppet Theater. Captain EO is probably my all time favorite show that has been in the Theater but The Path of the Jedi is an extremely close second.

I thought that since it has been awhile since anyone has seen this scene in the park, due to the work going on on the Big Thunder Trail, that I would post this picture. The steam mule in this picture, engine 11, and the other steam mule in the Thunder Mountain queue, engine 5, were used as set pieces in a Disney movie. That movie was “Hot Lead and Cold Feet” staring Don Knotts, Jim Dale, Karen Valentine, Jack Elam, and Darren McGavin.

The Mansion looked mostly the same as it does now. But there are a few key things missing in this picture. I personally like todays version more, especially the sundial and ghost carriage.
