Aww
If Arthur’s Bench was honest.
Thank you Stacey. Yes Sonia is bisexual.
Took the writers long enough and this still doesn’t make up for all the times they called her a lesbian.
Early 2014 vs Late 2015. Man have we had a boy downgrade or what?
I mean it’s nice to have Ben back but Paul and Lee just don’t do it for me.
I tried to watch some of Eastenders today, and the Elaine/Babe/Scott Neal (what a waste of talent…) stuff is so cringeworthy. What bothers me most about it is that it turns older women into a fetish, something to leer at. There’s something so crass, and cheap, and even dehumanizing about the way Elaine and Babe are presented, and at how annoying and absurd Neal’s character is.
DTC has always lacked the humanity in his producing that EE’s best producers have had.
Never mind how Babe and Elaine are presented. You know what Eastenders really needs? Another man who only exists for his inevitable shirtless scene and is ultimately nothing but an object of desire for the audience to gawk over and two (in this case older) women to fight over and of course he’ll do with both because that’s just what men do. Lovely. It’s not like this show isn’t suffering from a lack of strong male characters to begin with.
On Eastenders, do you think Paul is starting to have feelings for Ben or vice versa?
I think they are supposed to be, but they are so rarely seen together it’s kind of difficult to invest in.
All they do is have sex. The only feeling involved here is lust.
Which two characters in Eastenders have the potential to date but the writers never made it happen (yet)?
Denise and Lee (imagine the conflict with Linda)
Lauren and Jay (imagine Abi’s reaction)
Imagine Max’s reaction. Oh wait we don’t have to
Dean telling people to get away from him. How very polite. Most rapists don’t give warnings.
but no complaints of a girl beating a pregnant woman up on the same episode? okay.
Children murder people on this show but the line has to be drawn at “bastard”?
the straights are complaining again
Those scenes would have been just as disgusting with a straight couple. It’s highly inappropriate to show a couple (of any sort) making out right next to a fucking corpse of all things. I’m with the complainers on this one.
Jay to kiss Lola after Ben’s arrest! [x]
Jamie sporting a bit of an awkward boner there. Oops. At least he’s staying in character.
What does Abi Branning actually do apart from being in denial about Ben Mitchell?
On screen not much but she does have a job as a Vet’s receptionist.
Silver puffa jacket
I wish I had a silver puffa jacket. I could use it to strangle Ian until he stops looking down on a teenage boy he hardly knows just because he doesn’t like his mother who incidentally is also Ian’s own niece. What a prick.
We’ve got a big story for Jay and Lola which keys into her departure.

And his no doubt.
[Hopes beyond hope I’m wrong.]
“What are you looking at?”
Carol’s first scene. 16-11-1993.
