Some of the amazing people attending the Spielart festival reading about Western Sahara and getting their sand tubes to spread the word about the saharawi people. (Photos by Stefan loeber)
Dominique and Sara preparing the sand vending machine and the sand tubes with special postcards for our installation in the Spielart Festival in Munich. We had a great time doing it!
setting up our sand vending machine for the Spilart festival in the Moxie Studio in Düsseldorf. Thanks to the great moxie guys: Sven Terhart , Mirko Podkowik, Till Freese and Tim Turiak for their time and effort to make this installation possible!
We had the pleasure to give a talk about the Wall Of Sand project and Western Sahara’s conflict during the international Art Festival Spielart in Munich. We are glad to have had the opportunity to get hundreds of people know about the saharawi people. (photos by Franziska Schrödinger)
New names for an almost done first brick project! We are deeply thankful to all the donators and to our friend Elbu who is helping us to make this happen in the refugee camps. If you have a name, we have a brick waiting for you in www.wallofsand.org !
There are bricks with the power to build a room that protects Nanha's family from desert's extreme heat, and there are names with the power to make this happen. This photo proves it. If you think your name has the power to finish this room, go to www.wallofsand.org and get a brick with super powers!
Here is little Heybat contemplating the magical names that are making possible our first brick Project for Nanha's family. If you want to be part of this and help to restore the dignity of the Sahrawi people that was stolen 40 years ago, go to our website www.wallofsand.org and spread the word!
Last week, at the Complutense University of Madrid (Comunication Faculty), Dominique and Sara gave a lecture about the Western Sahara's conflict, our Wall of Sand project and about creativity as a tool to design society. Thank you for having us there!
We keep adding beautiful names to Nanha's room. Your name can also do big things like finishing a room for a saharawi family! go to our site www.wallofsand.org, get a brick and be proud of your name.
These are Nanha and her Daugther Tagla. Nanha lives since nearly 40 years in the refugee camps and Tagla was born there. What's behind them is the new room you all are building for them. You are always welcome to visit "your" room in the camps and have a tea with Nanha and her family!
See the new names on the bricks of Nanha's new room at the Western Sahara refugee camp Bojdour. Thanks to all Western Sahara Supporter!
