Love how John-Boy has absolutely no chill in "The Literary Man" after meeting a real-life writer. The moment A.J. reveals he's an author, John-Boy is over the moon giddy—unable to be normal about things for even a second. Like. The guy doesn't even try to mask a fraction of the excitement. He meets A.J. on the road and soon eagerly asks him to come over for dinner, and you just KNOW John-Boy's brain is going, "Best friend best friend my new best writer friend A.J.!!!!"
Then they get to the Walton house, and John-Boy is just smiling and chuckling and suddenly has completely forgotten the concept of personal space. Look at him. He could not be sitting any closer to A.J. if he tried.
