âNormally Iâm a bit better at knowing where Iâm going, but I admit that itâs my first time outside of my home region. Strangely, not many people seem to have heard of Orre, but itâs just a wasteland, so Iâm not surprised,â he rambled for a second, before remembering why he was talking to a stranger. Snapping his fingers, he placed his hand behind his head, laughing.
âSorry, sorry. I get caught up, sometimes. I guess Iâve been reading the map very wrong. I donât want to be a bother, but you seem like someone who knows what theyâre doing, so if I could tag along, thatâd be super helpful. I wonât stick around for any longer than you can be patient with me. Just to the exit.â
When he realized it sounded like he was forcing the other, his mouth scrunched up, âWait- I mean, if you want. Iâm sure I could find a way out.â
âNah, itâs really no problem.â Hearing the other go on a tangent didnât really bother him. Plus it allowed for him to learn a few things about the other, and even that they seemed to both hold origins from the same region. âAlso, I must note, that I completely understand though. Itâs both rather disappointing and understandable that most people tend to hold little to no knowledge of Orre.â
While still focusing on the other, Arawn closed his book and placed it into an inner coat pocket.  It was still amusing to the Historian on the chances of him running into a somewhat fledgling trainer from Orre in the middle of Index Forest.
âIâm Arawn Thanadosâ He introduced, giving a half bow. âAnd whether or not if Iâve given it away yet. Iâm also a trainer from the Orre region.âÂ
â Scott wasted no time getting to business. He took his cigarette and dropped it into the dirt, twisting it out as he approached the other closer. And closer. And closer. He only stopped when he was almost uncomfortably in the strangerâs space.
â âMy name is Grant.â His voice is low, as if he doesnât want to be overheard by any eavesdroppers. In reality, it is way too early for this shit and he doesnât have the energy to speak up. âI run a business that focuses on the furthering of aspirations held by its employees and recruits. I have contacted you because your varying interests intrigue me. Can you explain what you do in more depth to me?â
Seeing the other stand a little to close didnât really a bother for the Historian. As this brought to mind his own childhood friendâs tendency to ignore otherâs personal bubbles. It was a tad bit annoying to deal with... at first. However after living with him for a little over six months. It no longer became as irritating to deal with.
Not quite sure if the other was merely being quite, or if that was their normal volume. Still he decided to speak normally, since there was no real reason not to. It was still far to early to be wary of others overhearing anything. âSure, that shouldnât be an issue.âÂ
âDue to my work, Iâve traveled from region to region. Which has caused me to pick up information on each of the varying culturesâ people, folk tales, and most importantly historical knowledge.â He explained, not delving to far into what he had actually gained from each regionâs knowledge. âAnd over the years, Iâve acquired a few thousand different dialectsâs written languages, and about over half of those can be spoken.â

Luck seemed to be against the Historianâs side this time. The Orrian male was currently within a packet Library. Silently he was hoping to find a tabled seat in the hopes of being able to read and write down some notes without any issues. Still he continued to walk around with a few different books pertaining towards topics of his interests in hand.
Finally catching sight of a seemingly free seat, Arawn headed over and inquired for the person nearby. "Excuse me. I do apologize if Iâm bothering you, but is this seat taken?â
Please put your Museâs Halloween costume suggestions for my Muse in my submit box!
Bonus if you have them also explain why my Muse should dress up this way!

Send me âI seeâ and Iâll tell you how my character perceives yours
//Arawn currently views Umiko as a dear friend of his Mostly due to his own lack of awareness for his feelings =P In his opinion, she can be quite the finicky person to deal with at times, but he doesnât really see that in a negative light towards her. She is one of the few people that he would say he trusts.Â

She scanned the ground with her blue eyes, but found nothing. The typing of the Pokemon didnât exactly help her, since all Pokeballs looked the same, but who knew? Perhaps the name was on the capsule.
âWhere did you last see it?â
âUh, huh. Well, I last had it right in my hand, right before I bumped into... well you.â He admitted, still a bit embarrassed for his momentary lack of directional awareness.
âWhich, I do apologize again for that, but yes. It should be around here.â
âOH! Really? Well, I do hope I was helpful to him. He seemed a little timid around my Ghost Pokemon, but he also seemed genuinely interested in learning more about them. What about you? He had somewhat of a focus around Pokemon that fare well in sandstorms- aside from his Shedinja, of course.â
Hearing some more details, Arawn knew that it was indeed his younger half brother Kisin. Which brought on a relieved smile. âThat was definitely Kisin.â Having not heard from his brother in over two years, he was relieved to hear that he was doing ok, even if he had yet to break out from his shell. âBut Iâm sure you were of aid to him, and I do thank you in helping him.â
âAlthough for pokemon preferences... I guess, you could say that I also fall under the same favoritism for Ground, Steel, and Rock typed pokemon.â

Getting lost was never his plan- if he could help it, every single detail already would have been planned out. Unfortunately, this wasnât something he could always control, and now he was stuck wandering around aimlessly. If he gave himself enough time, he would have been able to figure it out, but, upon seeing someone else, he decided it would be much easier if he just asked for directions.
âGreetings, good sir! I donât know if youâd be willing to help someone like me out, but it seems Iâm lost, and Iâm not seeing any signs,â he hastily approached the stranger with his Larvitar at his feet, struggling to match his pace.
While finding time, Arawn was in the middle traveling with a book in hand. Multitasking while walking had never really been in favor for the Historian in the past. But he couldnât really pull himself away from the ancient tomes he carried, even if it meant getting going while reading.
Suddenly hearing someone call out, causing the Historian pulling his attention away from his book towards the other. âHm?âÂ
Showing a kind smile, he gave a wave gesture from his free hand. âOh, itâs no issue. This location can be quite the maze for those that either donât hold a map or havenât been here previously.â
Finished up with his most recent work within the Hoenn region, Arawn took this chance to wander around a bit. He wasnât sure when would be the next chance heâd have in visiting the region. Which left him with the feeling of why not make use of the remaining time left by strolling around for awhile.
As he wandered about, some noise caught his attention. Feeling a bit interested, his direction slowly shifted towards the noiseâs source. Though soon Arawn stopping in his tracks. For he had seemingly stumbled upon another working with, what he could only assume to be their pokemon.

â Scott had a lot of recruits whose talents were essentially useless to Soar. However, that didnât stop him from finding potential where he could. He loved quality, but nothing was wrong with quantity either. This new one, however, was very different from his usual pick ups.
â He had chosen a small section of a park for their meeting, during sunrise. The streetlamps were still blaring against the darkness, and after watching this Historian for a few minutes, he finally decided to step out into view. He had a swagger in his walk, and a black cigarette between his fingers.
â âIt is a pleasure to meet you in person.â
From the corner of his eye, Arawn first caught sight of an individual heading towards his direction. Observing the fellow, the Orrian male couldnât help but notice that the other seemed to be possibly limping. Figuring impolite to inquire upon anotherâs injures, he distance his thoughts away from the subject. Especially since this person seemed to be the one that called him out here.
âAh, yes. Itâs a pleasure to make your acquaintance as well...â Pausing, the Historian realized that he either didnât remember to get the username/name from within the message, or simply forgot to memorize it. If it was indeed the latter option, he was about to feel quite the bit of embarrassment for bumbling up their first meeting.
Being always on the move from one ancient. It was quite costly for the Historian. Which commonly, if not at all times, required for him to take on sponsors to help pay for his many expeditions to different regions all around the world. Â
While waiting, Arawn couldnât help but ponder back to why he was out standing about. It had all started when he had gotten a message on the prospects of hiring him. For what or why, wasnât exactly expressed within the message, bjt it did peak his curiosity enough to head out for the meeting location.Â
He could only figure that who ever wanted to hire him needed a guide for some ruins, help with some translations of ancient texts, or simply someone to go exploring for them, to only take the credit once anything was discovered. The same old, same old for the Historian, really.Â
