New morning take: sneezes that can barely get through a stuffy nose.

Feeling the overwhelming weight from the sinuses give because of an itch, something that feels like it would just be too much to withstand.

Sneezing 98% through the mouth, and that last 2% barely is able to get out through the nostrils.

Or, sneezing with the lips closed becomes a natural stifle, because the nose is so blocked up, which leaves the person beyond unsatisfied.

So unsatisfied, in fact, that they keep sneezing, tapering off into a sneezing fit just because their boy is desperate to rid a tickle that can’t be sneezed out.

i moved to a new region recently and i’ve been living here a little over a month and suddenly my nose has been??? SO tickly lately?? idk if it’s late allergies or maybe my new apartment is dusty but. feel like i’m constantly on the verge of a sneeze that almost never comes. annoyed.

unsure if you're confused about why you'd want to do that re:your last post, but eating locally sourced pollen is supposed to help with local allergies (and can be sourced from beekeepers in the area for most efficacy, but big stores will also sell bee pollen, but you want to look local for the help with things, well, locally). local honey won't do anything for you, though, except ease a sore throat

this is crazy! i did not know this at all. but yeah she just said she’s eating more honey, not pollen, so. we’ll see how it goes ??

a coworker today said “i’m extremely allergic to pollen, so i’ve been trying to eat more honey to build up a tolerance” uhhhhhhhhhhh. head tilt.

normally when i sneeze and my roommates are home i just hands free stifle but something was ITCHING my nose and i just let out such a loud sneeze 😭 i am embarrassed

Someone with horrible hayfever that no meds really touch, and someone is "helpfully" nudging them into getting allergy shots, but they're secretly terrified of needles and will do anything to avoid that.

Maybe even lying about getting them to get the persuation attempts to stop but secretly cancelling the appointments, and then having to dope themselves up on ALL the (largely useless) meds and trying to pretend they're fine when they go somewhere and their friends or partner or colleagues think they'll be fine but their allergies are going haywire.

Eventually, while having an absolute allergic meltdown, admitting that they never took those shots because they're terrified of needles and they'd rather be sneezy.

like a man who has such a bad sneezing fit, that he literally needs a shower after. like it was so messy that at one point he just completely gave up covering, and sneezed all over himself. he just couldn’t help it. a man who looks like he’s on the edge of death just from his seasonal allergies. all the antihistamines he took didn’t even put a dent in it, they only served to make him super drowsy and unable to function. the only things actually keeping him awake are his burning sinuses and his inability to breathe out of his nose.

today one of my coworkers was saying her mattress makes her sneezy. another coworker asked how, and she said ‘like this:’ and then pretended to sneeze 😭
