Know your rights.
While people are inclined to whip out their phones and film when they see something alarming happening, those videos are not always recorded in a way that can be used as evidence in a legal proceeding or to support advocacy tactics.
At the human rights organization WITNESS, where I work as the senior U.S. program coordinator, weāve learned that video has a greater chance of making an impact when itās filmed ethically and strategically, and released in coordination with advocacy and legal efforts. Using the camera in your pocket can be a valuable way to ensure the world bears witness to abusive policing and systemic racism, help hold authorities accountable, and advocate for the real safety of our communities.
Teen Vogue still hitting it out of the park, I see.

On Holocaust Remembrance Day, this twitter account is posting the names and photos (when available) of refugees turned away from America who became victims of Naziism. #NoBanNoWall #RefugeesWelcomeĀ

Auschwitz was an adult camp birkenau was where kids were sent supposedly
Keep your story straight if youāre gonna use it to further your agenda. Sloppy propagandizing
āAt death camps like Auschwitz children did not fare well: they were often killed upon arrival. Children born in the camps were generally killed on the spot, especially if the child was Jewish.ā (Source: http://www.auschwitz.dk/holocaust1.htm)
Actual child survivors sent to Auschwitz: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/world/auschwitz-survivors
Also, most importantly, Birkenau was a part of Auschwitz (Auschwitz II) and was a smaller āsatellite campā of Auschwitz. So yes, children were sent Birkenau as you noted, but seeing as how Birkenau was essentially a part of Auschwitz, it seems op does indeed have their āstory straightā. Perhaps you should read up some more on the Holocaust before using misinformation as sloppy criticism. Buy More Books.
So, after a rousing visit to the ER and being sort of diagnosed with a complicated digestive issue, I am up to my pretty eyes in debt and may even have to file for bankruptcy (at the ripe age of 23 sobsob) so, if you happen to be buying anything at Book Depository, I would really appreciate if youād use my affiliate link! Just click the link, and procede to check out as normal, and I get 5% of what you spend. Itāll help me save up a little for pressing bills and pay for a few small Christmas gifts for my family.
I apologize for being the local beggar >__<

7.07.16 Hi everyone! I hope you are all loving your summer so far! So many things have been going on for me, and because Iām in the early days of the summer I havenāt really started my revision yet for next year. Buuuut this week Iām revising my driving test questions as well as getting as much practise in as I can because itās a week away! Iāve tidied my room finally so I feel much more comfortable taking studyblr photos - I always feel a bit oppressed when there are clothes and books all over the floor. Iām planning interior design for my uni dorm and my bedroom here at home a lot so follow my pinterest boards using the link at the top of my page that would be so wonderful. Also, hi to all of my new snapchat followers! I love you all so much thanks for making me feel like a celebrity even though Iām just a girl who reads books and goes on adventures! Also, the productivity tips are now resuming Iām spending this evening queueing loads of them so I wonāt miss many days at all if I can help it. Iām currently reading Between the lines by Jodie Picoult, and listening to a lot of Sufjan Stevens. Can you tell Iāve been drinking coffee again? xxxxx emily
