funniest part of undertale/deltarune being inspired by earthbound/mother 3 is that at the end of mother 3 all the characters turn to you, the player, and say thank you for playing our game! thank you for helping us! thank you for talking to us! we love you! please take care of yourself! please take a rest! please love yourself! and in deltarune chapter 4 kris beats you with a hockey stick
am i wrong
I started playing AOC, and that caused me to wanna replay Warriors legends on my 3DS
And it feels like EVERYTHING is just way more tanky in AOC
Sure you got way more ways to expose the weakness gauge, But a Moblin's gauge feels like the average Bosses in the original HW
And the fodder enemys, i can tear through Bokos no problem. But AOC? I have to actually take time to specifically attack them because they won't die from a few hits
IM SORRY IM TRYING MY BEST
everyone wants to date gaster but you have to realize at like 6 a.m hes gonna be like
"LISTEN
TO THIS TRACK
I MADE
ON
FL STUDIO
MY DELTARUNE"
and its gonna sound like dogshit and if you dont like it he'll probably kill himself or whatever
Gave me the idea of corestrings basically just being blellow (soul/player being blue and yellow being gaster) I think corestrings with that dynamic would be hilarious and amazing
Had a dream where you could hand over control to Kris in later chapters but the reason for NOT doing that was "Kris you're gonna get us all killed if you don't let me do the dodging"
Kris lock the fuck in

@lynee_ill (Instagram) For those participating in the "Where did she smile" ARG or anyone interested in the question, I feel like what the answer is building up to is really really specific.
Obviously, it's not as simple as just Noelle smiling from happiness (we see her smile in her talk sprite). It has to be like, an authentic smile that somehow happens in the Weird Route, like a moment that finally cements Noelle's dedication to this path/the moment we take full control of her.
I'm 101% certain that the answer is where a massive sequence break in Deltarune's narrative occurs. Noelle's source of unhappiness is a past she can't control and her perceived powerlessness in guiding her own future and destiny.
Meanwhile, Deltarune as a whole is about contemplating what it means to live in a world that is confirmed to be pre-destined. Metanarratively, this is the code of Deltarune and how stories, especially games, cannot change due to being constructed by static choices and consequences.
...And Noelle's special gift is to find glitches. To break games.
As the SOUL in the Weird Route, we're not just forcing Noelle to be our 2nd playable puppet. We're gaslighting her into believing she is becoming strong by our commands. What I think the "smile" actually is, is the moment that Noelle's labor in the Weird Route pays off and she finally gives complete consent to our control. She's "smiling" because this is where she finally (or at least belives) she's become "strong" and can control her own fate. Where does she smile? Where the narrative finally breaks apart through her own hands.
Heyheyhey i just wanna talk
I just wanna have a chat
good chapter, thank you tobert
Impa taking a long, skeptical look at the meal Wild was preparing. It was her first time meeting the newest hero in Link's, or rather Warrior's group. The scarred hero apparently decided to sneak away from the rest of the group and came across this timeline's Impa. - They spoke for a while, Wild talking about his version of Impa, and Impa herself talking about the history of the sheikah and their practices, which Wild seemed really interested in. Eventually Wild moved to the ground and began to cook as he spoke to Impa. Once the meal was finished, Wild handed her a plate full of food. - Impa was skeptical of the food, only opting to try it due to the fact that she watched every step of Wild preparing the meal, and because he too was eating the same food that was prepared. After seeing such, she slowly began to eat. - Impa: Interesting... - Wild pausing mid bite as he looked up at her: I'm sorry? - Impa: From the way the other heroes in the group described you, it was as if you were an accomplished cook. - Wild's face morphing into confusion: I'm sorry, is it not that good? Perhaps you don't like the gourmet steak, I can try a different meat. - Impa shaking her head: No, it just seems like its... blander than I anticipated. - Wild's face slowly turning to one of understanding, and a hint of guilt: Sorry, but I didn't add any herbs or spices to it. I usually make War's food this same way. - Impa already knowing why he would do this, but still decided to ask: Why remove the herbs and spices? - Wild: So you wouldn't think I was poisoning you. - Impa nodded her head slightly, and waited for him to continue. - Wild: I know that most poisons have a specific taste to them, and that spices and such can mask that flavor. Often times that's why in armies, food is rarely made with spices or anything that can alter the original taste of the food. - Impa: And you said you make Link's food this way? - Wild nodding: At first, I made it like normal, but I noticed that Wars would look over my shoulder anytime I made food. I would also see Wars pick around some thyme leaves after seeing them or various other herbs, sometimes even leaving his food unfinished. I started omitting the herbs and spices from his meals, and I saw that he would actually eat the food then. I don't even know if he's fully aware of it, it's just something I noticed. - Impa: Have you spoke to him about this? - Wild shaking his head quickly: Of course not. - Impa: And the reason for that? - Wild pausing for a long moment: Food should be comforting. Something that makes you happy. Almost everyone in our group has small niches when it comes to food. Those niches they may not even be aware of, but if they were pointed out, it could make them feel isolated. I don't want them to feel like that. It's my job as the cook to make them feel comforted, while also making sure that they never feel singled out for what they like. - Impa giving Wild a very brief and very rare smile: That's a good sentiment to have. However... - Impa holding her plate of unfinished food to Wild: I've been here, eating bland food for far too long. And I'd certainly never turn down something with a little spice to it. - Wild looking up to her before giving a wide grin: One gourmet meat curry coming up!
happy december!

This is my contribution to pride month this year. This idea has almost certainly already been done before but what I lack in creativity I make up for in extremely rushed line work
