About Me

I'm Wandish, I use any pronouns and I'm 24. I have been practicing some form of divination on-and-off for about 8 years. I started with playing cards, and have sense learned tarot, dice, and sometimes use oracles. I'm hoping to get lenormand as well sometime in the near future. I do have a decent knowledge of astrology and will incorporate that into some readings as well, but I don't do it as an independent practice.

About My Free Readings

I have recently gone through a phase of life where I wasn't doing divination for a while and am doing free readings to practice. As with any reading, take anything I say as entertainment not legal, health, or any other kind of official advice or counsel.

I will use whichever method or methods of divination I feel like using or that I think would best address your query.

I will choose what readings I do and when, and reserve the right to not perform one, as I am doing them for free and for my own practice and improvement.

How to get a reading?

Send an ask, you can include your astrological sign or other information that you feel would be relevant.

For the best results have a specific open ended question, or ask for insight about a well-defined aspect of your life.

Also don't be afraid to send silly questions as well. Things like "What would my superpower?", "If I was a character in a popular show, what would fans get wrong about me?". Whatever, I like having fun.

If you reblog your answer with feedback or follow up questions, I may also respond in a reblog to those as well.

hi! so i’m sort of on the verge of going thru a heartbreak if that makes sense, it hasn’t happened but i have a feeling it may. the dread has sorta been making me sink deeper into despair as life hasn’t been going the way i’ve been planning it to for a few months now. the stagnancy is very frustrating and it’s greatly effected my willpower. so my question is how can i bring my desired life into reality, what actions can i take? i mean this as in making the connections and relationships i desire and just overall a good relationship with my environment that gives me a sense of community and belonging. i want to do this not only to generally improve and have a mental glow up but to sorta get a head start and not fall even deeper when something else goes wrong. thank u in advance!

I'm sorry to hear that you've been feeling the way you've been feeling, but hopefully this will bring you a little bit of comfort.

Firstly because the text on Giuseppe might be hard to read and I think it's really important for you, it says:

"Draw three cards from anywhere. If they do not bring you happiness, put them back where you found them and draw three more. You may repeat this as many times as you'd like. If any other players are looking or feeling left out, share some with them."

That along with the other cards, you have a huge theme of letting go. You don't have to try to make things work if they don't already feel like they're going to work. Make sure anything that you are involved with are something you want to do, not something you do out of believing that they're what you should do.

This is going to sound a bit harsh but: There is no defining Truth to who you are that you need to uphold. It is fine and sometimes necessary to "act out of character", it's okay to change, or stay the same, for no reason other than you want to.

I think part of what you're struggling with is overplanning and focusing too much on progress. The 4 of Wands stands out from the rest of the reading, to me it's about good stagnation. It's all about finding a comfortable place to relax and play, the themes of play and comfort are re-enforced by Guiseppe and the 9 of swords Rx.

Things will happen, and set backs will happen and it's really important for you to remember that how you react to crisis or misfortune is not a damning indictment of who you are. Sometimes growth is reconnecting with who you were before things happened to you.

I think part of what you need to do to feel more connected to your environment is to treat it like a sandbox for you to explore, not a stepping stone to the next place that you want to be.

I decided to start with some lenormand because it tends to be really good with these kinds of really ""worldly"" practical questions so what I got with that is follows:

You're facing this difficult decision, and feel like you're struggling with how you want to build your "legacy" (which is a lofty word for an arts fair but yeah) and the best way to make a long lasting reputation. Here at the end it indicates that the best way to do that is sharing knowledge and wisdom.

Then bringing in the tarot, what I kind of see there is that trying to blend these two sides of yourself is a nice intention but rather than improving your chances it makes your table kind of busy and adds a lack of clarity.

For me swords can be like the "tactical" side of business so an upright 5 of swords would be like a new innovation building on a stable foundation but here the reversal is like stacking too much on top of a shaky base. But the 5 is doing double duty here, it also point to the idea that letting go of these "too" many ideas, letting the extra swords fall away will let you be more successful as seen with the ace of coins.

So yeah, I see it's probably best for you to stick to just the tarot so your table isn't too busy and it's easier for people at the fair to see what you're doing. I think really simpler is better, with crossroad and mountains next to each other means more options bring up more trouble, so I would limit the kind of readings you offer. Less choices, more clarity, easier to build a "brand" for yourself and have a successful day.

Thanks so much! You've cultivated some really amazing skills! My brain is mush at the moment, but here are some initial thoughts ^-^

1. I agree with your choice to do lenormand here, and love how you chose to interpret the tree. I also can see the tree coupled with the mountain being a hint at my physical health facing some issues if I tried to do double duty so quickly. Maybe not tanking me totally, but putting a temporary halt on my progess (I've got several disabilities that require a lot of rest in order to keep me from being trapped in bed).

2. The "sharing wisdom and knowledge" bit is super interesting to me. I'm taking some courses right now from someone in the tarot community. I'm learning a lot, building my confidence, and helping inspire others. That last part keeps tripping me up. Like, wow, people actually want to hear what I say? What do you mean they value my thoughts? It's nice to know that even the cards think it's a good idea for me to continue pursuing helping people discover more about the world. Tarot is definitely a great way to do that.

3. I like the idea that the reverse 5 of Swords is a moment of letting go when combined with Temperance. I have a hard time doing that, and it's good to have a reminder from time to time.

Mountain-Tree-Lily is actually a pretty good indication of disability (for me lily is very connected to things that are long-lasting/permanent bc a big part of the card to me is a long time or age) and it's interesting to see it between the crossroads and the book- the consideration of your long term health struggles being a vital consideration in your decisions in how you use your studies. This isn't anything new, it's just funny how lenormand has a knack for operating on so many levels.

So centrally there's conflict avoidance, like the two of you don't lose your tempers with each other easily. You tend to sooth each other's anxiety.

I'm seeing that he's a guy with good leadership skills, particularly a gentle kind of guiding. I see him being good at keeping you from over-indulging and being able to help you stay focused.

I decided to go with dynamics more generally I suppose.

Overall this is a growing connection it seems, but it's also this very stable vibe. Like the feelings grow stronger but the activities that you and H do together and how you interact remains similar even as the emotions shift.

This has really strong pining vibes from both of you, there's a lot of anxiety and insecurity between the two of you.

In the interest of getting through this in a reasonable way, I'm gonna do bullet points from here on because my brain is my brain lmao.

No, I don't think so. 4 of spades is pretty indicative of an "empty space" plus the 3 of hearts which is very much a card representing meetings. 8 of hearts is usually conversations, and I think here it means getting to know him.

Personality:

I'm getting a really strong sense of morality, really independent and being very particular.

I see that there's a lot of intensity to him, and he's kind of hard-to-miss but really isn't into getting that attention or praise in large settings. There's a sense that he tries to be "quiet" when out and about despite his more noticeable presence. I feel like he's into STEM, going out a bit of a limb here but I'm getting science education vibes here as a possible career.

But even if it's not his job I think it's still an apt "shorthand" for a lot of things I see here: a fascination with the natural world and the laws that govern it, a desire to do right by the "little guy" but intertwined with a complete disinterest in being lauded for it or dealing with management, being good at weathering ups and downs.

To me, 7 of clubs can be learning in a new place and 6 of hearts can be enjoyable travel, so seems promising. It does look like it's a major headache and stressful but you get it done.

This one has been giving me a lot of trouble, so I honestly don't know that a lot of this is going to be very meaningful.

There's a lot of weirdness with rules and restrictions here.

I think you're very sugary, sweet, and extravagant in comparison to Duong. I'm getting big like, just a t-shirt and jeans vibe from him. I also feel like he's not much of a food guy, like it's very just. Subsistence for him while you're very into treats and food as an experience. That's not really relevant just something I saw.

There's a Playful kind of vibe here, like I get that you're more outwardly silly but he's more of a deadpan kind of jokester. I don't think people around you guys really recognize how funny he is because the way he delivers jokes is the exact same tone of voice as when he's not kidding. I think both of you really get a laugh out of the other.

I get the vibe that the two of you are in different places with your career paths and this is causing a lot of uncertainty for the future. I think some kind of Big decision is coming up, possibly terms of your locations, trying to decide if it's worth going long distance if you're currently in the same location. Or if you're long distance right now, deciding if moving closer to him makes sense for you (I get the vibe that if you are apart, you'd be the one moving to him possibly bc you have a less specialized or just more portable career).

I unfortunately do see a bit of a conundrum for you during your time in Finland the way things are going right now.

It looks like you could end up being stuck in a situation where you're lonely but not alone enough, which makes sense giving your living situation for the trip. And the Hierophant Rx shows that the differences between your home country and Finland could be a bit tiring. Nothing crazy but I've been abroad and sometimes the little things can make being out and about feel strange. People just occupy public spaces in a slightly different way. Go faster/slower on the sidewalk than you're used to, talk in a different volume when dining out. The cheapo public bathroom soap smells different. That kind of thing.

9 of wands here suggests a bit of fatigue, from the loneliness and the small cultural differences but also from your volunteer work. The good news there is that this feels like a more positive kind of tiredness. Like you're exhausted a lot of the time but it feels good to be tired because you're doing good work and trying new things. It's very "tuckered out (positive)" to me.

With the playing cards I was thinking about what you could do to improve the trip. It seems like you just have to ask, as scary as that is, believe me I know lol. But it seems like the people around you are eager to get to know each other, it's just that everyone is nervous and that can get to them. Something that seems like it would be helpful is to make a plan, invite others to go with you but if people don't join you, still stick to the plan. I don't mean anything extravagant, the plan could just be going to a nearby park after volunteering or visiting a shop to see what a Finnish shoe store or something is like. Going through with getting out and seeing things the first time could show people that you're kind of, "stubborn" about having a good time on your trip and encourage them to join you or help them to know that you're "game" to do other stuff with them.

I don't really see like very deep friendships coming from this, but happy low commitment ones feel very possible. Nothing here suggests anyone disliking you or being opposed to being around you or unfriendly. The vibe here is just that no one's really at their best-most-confident selves and that nervousness can be a bit hard to work through.

I used the playing cards for this. I see that you have met or heard about this person before, but I don't think it is a close connection.

I think he might be friends with one of your friend's partners. If you have actually met this person, instead of just hearing about him, the meeting was rather short and he seemed cold/disinterested and had somewhere else to be. More like the two of you were introduced in passing rather than truly meeting.

I think when you two will actually "meet"/get to know each other will be in the next year or two and the connection will get more intense during a stressful time for you. What I'm seeing is that it's during the "home stretch" of a work or school project.

A lot of the way these cards are showing up for me imply that if you're in college/university, this is a guy you meet at school. Especially in a class or in a club rather than in a more informal setting, and possibly grow close to during finals or exam season. Maybe even working directly with him on a group project.
