some things i think new comers should know (i probably missed some)
- ana coaches a majority of the time are NOT good! they are creeps who are using you, why would anyone help you for free, no one does this!! they are scamming you to get nudes!
- take your vitamins daily! vitamins are super important and worth the couple calories they have.
- water is great, but don’t drink excessive amounts you can actually be over hydrated!
- “low cal” foods aren’t worth it instead eat the same amount of calories you would’ve had in that low calorie snack bar and instead have it in vegetables, fruits, nuts, meat!
- exercise!!!! if you want to lose weight and keep it off e x e r c i s e (not to much though this can also be dangerous)
- do exercises even when you’re sitting or standing (sit and be fit on youtube is good cause you could be reading,drawing, doing homework,etc. while getting a decent workout in)
- facial exercises! these are very important! have you ever heard of the phrase “runners face”? if not, runners face is when someone’s body is physically fit and that person is losing weight but they aren’t exercising their facial muscles so their face sags! youtube has some amazing 3-10 minute facial exercises to do wherever!
- TEA! i absolutely love tea when i’m fasting, some tea curbs appetite and boosts metabolism. it also tastes good so it can kick some of those cravings too!
- if you are eating try to eat healthy the days your eating too, you may have a low calorie day only eating 500 calories but, if those 500 calories are cookies and chips you could lose more by eating a protein and some vegetables!
- if your fasting and need some ideas of what to do to keep you away from the kitchen as much as possible here are some ideas!
* pick up that book you’ve been meaning to read!
* clean! (+ also burns some calories)
* go for a walk!
* exercise!
* draw, paint or color!
* journal/write!
* homework!
* meditation!
* nap!
* play video games!
* paint your nails!
* hangout with friends! (that is after quarantine is over and it is safe to do so!!)
* learn a new language!
* rock out to some music! (+ burns calories if your groovin’)

obviously not mine, but i love how small her waist is and how flat her tummy is. unlike me, her hip dips are almost entirely non-existent and her waist smoothly fans out into her hips with no disruptions. her thighs don’t touch and the gap between them is noticeably large. her arms are thin and dainty, and her shoulders are sharp. but what i love the most about her is that she is smiling, and it looks so genuine. yeah, she might be faking it for the photo or whatever, but in that moment, she looks so genuinely thrilled, and i want to be that happy with my body. i want to be able to smile like that.

my least favorite part of having an eating disorder is the constant arguing and bargaining in your head. racing thoughts all the fuckin time like, “okay I’ve had 75 calories today. I can have a banana and still be under 200. wait, 1200 is still considered restriction. how much would I lose this week with a daily deficit of 500 calories? I can do that. I’ll still lose weight. but not as much as if I fasted. no. just have nothing. you could lose 3.5 lbs. this week! just have nothing. people do it every day. just have a fucking banana. you won’t even be at maintenance. but what if it triggers a binge? think about your jawline. why don’t I just have everything I want and purge? what percentage can you get back up when you purge? hey google…” AND IT NEVER STOPS.
