May the 4th be with you, our youngling Leila Alderaan. 😍 Thank you to everyone who came to her party yesterday. Super appreciate it. 😀 Last night, while she was opening her gifts, she suddenly hugged and kissed @emercader11 and said "Thank you daddy for my birthday, I love you." Out of nowhere. :') She did the same to me after as well. Aaaawww... we love you, darling. I pray that you stay this sweet until adulthood. Haha! May you grow up fearing nothing and loving God above all else. May you stay true to yourself and passionately pursue your dreams whatever they may be. We will always be here for you. I pray that the Lord continue giving you good health and guide us in raising you up to be His faithful servant. This morning at #NatGeoRunPH2016. Signed up for this with a goal to break our PR. And break it, we did. We constantly time in at exactly 3 hours at 21k. I crossed the finish line at 3:35. Wahahaha! Wasn't able to stick to our run timing since I got dizzy midway through. Resorted to counting off instead for distraction and pacing nren. Haha! Had to leave hubby behind early as well so I was seriously worrying about him at the 16k mark na. No sleep, puyat for 2 weeks due to work, no breakfast, no training for a month. Ang saklap ng feeling teh! Hahaha! 😂😱 Baback-out na nga dapat kami pero sayang bayad kaya push! Lol 😂 I super appreciated TBR more because of this run. For such a big event, I think the organizers weren't prepared for the massive turnout of runners. Route was weird because of the many intersections and they weren't able to stop some pasaway drivers to enter the route! Heck I can think of better routes inside BGC's less traveled wider roads. Hydration stations were running out of supplies and their drinks weren't cold at all. Ang laking bagay nun e. Lalo na't peak of summer and it was very humid even at 3am. Grabe lang. Hassle pa ung layo ng finish line to starting line. Even if they said there were free shuttle rides to get back to BGC proper, we didn't know where the pickup was and it wasn't announced in the race village. A lot just walked or took a cab or rode a jeep to Market2 like we did. Haaayy... oh well. For the earth naman so keri. Today we ran our first forty FREAKIN' two kilometers at The Bull Runner Dream Marathon in Nuvali. Woot woot! So many feels on the finish line and so much pain during the last 4k. Hahaha! WE DID IT!!! THANK YOU LORD! This is all You! I totally felt His burning love and protection whenever I called out to Him. Grabe! Felt like He was firing me up and sending angels around who cheered for me with all their might. Hahaha! Galing! Crossing the finish line was overwhelming especially when I had my husband by my side who never gave up. It would've been extra special if we had family greeting us there though. I just cried when I realized that that was it. We're done! We made it!!! Thank you to our dream chaser during the last 195 meters. You were a breath of fresh air!
