Upon a bench rest two silent, stoic vessels, tasked with serving as living cages for godlike beings associated with light and soul. They are alike in some regards, yet polar opposites in many others.

One dutifully accepts its purpose and carries out its mission without question. The other is deeply conflicted and constantly struggles against the loss of their own autonomy.

One was discarded but took it upon itself to succeed where a chosen vessel had failed. The other was forced into their role with no way of backing out, while a chosen vessel was carelessly cast aside.

One wields darkness against light. The other wields light against darkness.

They both have much work ahead of them, but for now, they sit side by side in silent solidarity. No words need be exchanged for them to see each other for what they are. After all, why bother introducing yourself to a mirror?

Coco and Olruggio Parallels

Determined, hard-working, persistent. A nap and a snack can really recharge them when they've pushed themselves. Might put their health in danger from staying up too late if they are stuck on a project. Fear of failure.

Haunted by a memory of someone getting hurt because they were too young and ill-equipped to save them. Drives them to succeed, but fuels their fear of failure. To them, achieving their goals would mean settling down with all their loved ones safe and happy. Not motivated by money or pride. Just wants to do what's right.

Self sacrificial. Good at keeping Qifrey stressed, even though they don't mean to. Will find a way to help even when told not to.

Their feelings will be hurt if they're lied to or prevented from helping. Very forgiving, trusting, and loyal.

They will bend rules and invent new solutions to any problems they encounter. They love magic, and honestly believe it is for helping people. They find beauty in pointless spells, and also innovate useful spells. They can't stand inequality and primarily focus their attention on making life easier for people who have it hardest. Coco and Olruggio are the champions of people who need a light in the dark, clean water, mobility aides, a warm bed, or anything that requires a new perspective and tends to slip through the cracks.
