Can you win against your pfp/icon in a fight (in the sense of asking which one is physically stronger)? Assume you both have the drive and the motivation to fight eachother, and both of you are unarmed (unless your pfp explicitly shows them with a weapon, or they physically cannot survive without their weapon).

I can easily win against them with no issues

I can win against them, but it wouldn’t exactly be instantaneous

*Not being able to conceptualize the idea of what a fight against your pfp would even look like, e.g. if your pfp is just a solid blue circle with no inherent meaning behind it

#trying to recall the last time i was In an elevator...#it's um. it's been a bit #the only times i can recall were at hospitals and at hotels #but i haven't been to either recently #i want to say i was in a hospital more recently than i was in a hotel #in which case that still would have been. 3 1/2 years ago?#i feel like i must be forgetting something but I can't think of any other potential times

parrying big minos' punches was actually easier for me on brutal. probably because they feel a lot faster and one of the things that makes it difficult For Me is that i try to parry too early

#i don't parry in most videogames. you must understand #i have made it through dark souls 2 and 3 without ever figuring out parry timing #the fact that i parry in ultrakill is an aberration for me #it also helps that big minos stays. yknow. in one place #as opposed to me losing track of gabriel like 500 times while i was fighting him

the quest to get good at playing brutal difficulty on ultrakill is. Going feels a bit like relearning the game in some sections. aka gabriel 1 (not even 2!) kicking my ass. though i remain that one of the smoothest things i've done in this game is parrying one of his spear throws while i wasn't even looking at him based solely on timing

#also i have had to remember that sliding in combat is a thing that exists. like. it's something you can do so you don't have to dash.#which i had partially remembered while fighting the powers but

hm. maybe I work on getting an art program and my tablet driver running on this computer

it's not the same computer I've used for the last 8 1/2 years. instead it is a computer someone else used for 7 years. I wound up with it after it had an internal file error that would make it bluescreen (critical process died) more and more often until it simply wouldn't boot up anymore. now that that particular issue has been fixed, it IS an upgrade,

Context:

So today I typed ~4,500 words, and now my middle fingers hurt. I was never taught how to touch type (didn’t even know it was a thing when I was younger), so I defaulted to the hunt-and-peck method. Honestly, I feel kinda ashamed that I can’t type “properly.”

I tried learning touch typing online for a couple of days, but gave up—I don’t type often enough to justify the effort, and depression makes it even harder to push myself.

Anyway, I wanted to ask: how do you type?

And a second question: is there anything “normal” that you never learned, and it makes you feel bad sometimes?

#i sort of refined touch typing in school but my mom made me learn it before that #(why did the autocomplete recommend refinanced instead of refined. we may never know)#as for things i haven't learned. a lot of stuff to do with cleaning chemicals specifically #when i helped with chores as a kid I wasn't allowed to mess with chemicals #so I don't really know the specific uses and directions for a lot of them off the top of my head #thankfully they have packaging for a reason and i can just oh #sorry. look at that*.#it does feel a bit weird though

#my eyes are hazel i guess. greenish hazel #my favorite color was purple for a while but I've been more fond of cyan lately #black by a long shot. & then red and white are tied i think #it's multicolored. mostly blues and greens #i don't have a dedicated water bottle but the one i used to have was a goldish color

I am whatever the opposite of a speed runner is. I am a game meanderer. I have to look at literally everything. I am overly cautious in every way. I forget to pause and wander away from the game. I take a minimum 7 hours to get through any given level. If you give me a timer I will cry.

#the only time I've ever really speedran is to get p-ranks in ultrakill #but aside from that i tend to take my time
