Both Lexa and Dani died, both of their deaths were painful and made us cry and yet only one fills us with incomprehensible rage and makes us want to strangle the show runner. Now we could give a thousand reasons why but I think at the end of the days it boils down to one main thing. Respect. You could feel how much Dani’s character was loved and respected by the writers and show runner. Dani’s death was painful but it was the pain of catharsis , the pain of a beautiful story. In comparison you could see the cruelty in Lexa’s death. The clear signs of a show runner who doesn’t care about the character but merely about getting a reaction the way a spoiled cruel child would behave. Lexa’s death offers nothing but pain, anger and bitterness.

So yes burying your gays is and always will remain a bad trope but there is a HUGE difference in how you kill of an LGBT character. There is a VAST difference between doing it as a stunt and doing as part of a loving and respectful story

No it will be Sara. All the other teams will start expressing their condolences and talk about how brave she was and so on meanwhile all the Legends be all like chilling and not giving a fuck. Outraged Kara , Barry and Oliver start laying into them. How they can be so callous? Their Captain just died saving the entire universe. And the Legends are just like wait for it.....and then Sara strolls through the front with a frappuccino and “I went to Hell and I got was this lousy t-shirt”
