And it wasn’t an issue of whether or not Grian thinks it’s deserved. But rather a sad song to go along with the sad tune his heart plays when he clenches the burnt black book of someone he feels like he knows well, but could never put a name to what they really were. He wishes he could’ve called mumbo a friend, and with enough time, he felt like maybe they would’ve reached that point. But fate plays it’s hands at the cruelest of times, and instead grian is once again the cause of the death of someone he could have loved.
