I was a little nervous to debut these in Salt Lake, I wasn't sure if they'd be received well, or sell particularly fast. Lo and behold they were the first things to go and were gone within the first half hour! They're slipcast from an antique mold for "gum holders", something you can find in many antique and thrift stores, glazed in that old 70s brown and cream scheme and with eerily human features painted on. I had one as a child and it's been long lost, but I admire every one I have come across since. My first thought, given the original human faces, was to turn them into ahegao kitties with nipnops 😂 the skellies came later but are just as cute... In a different way perhaps 😅✨ . . . #ceramics #ceramicartist #pottery #slipcast #gumholder #antiquegumholder #70sceramics #slipcasting #anime #ahegao #noticemesenpai #catskeleton #vultureculture #halloweenvibes https://www.instagram.com/p/CidBqBiJmD_/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
