Seriously if anyone has an in at Lionsgate hit me up in the DMs. Thanks.
An entire film set in Revolutionary War Southern California, where the Salem Witch Trials occurred.
An entire film with the Rangers powerless and reverted into children when Zedd and Rita trap their Power Coins in a magic piggy bank.
Turbo 2 with the original cast and production values. “Wow, Tommy and Justin turned out to be tattooed, dirtbag MMA guys!”
Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog recast as a Game of Thrones ripoff.
A Prequels-style exploration on parliamentary procedures on Aquitar. It’s also a riff on The Abyss.
Virtual Reality is hot again, so VR Troopers: Dawn of Steele is a no-brainer.
An Indiana Jones-style adventure picture featuring Trey, the tripartite Lord of Triforia.
Blue Senturion: Temporal Victims Unit is equal parts Timecop, Terminator, and NYPD Blue. (The Rangers still get baked into a pizza.) (No matter what happens, we still never find out who the Phantom Ranger is.)
An art-house rumination on death wherein Kamen Rider Skyrider keeps saying “I AM AMAZON!” over and over again.
A Troy Burroughs origin story that explores a vast conspiracy which explains why that water bottle murdered his parents.
Bulk and Skull travel to planet Horath, where they are still revered as legendary warrior gods, to clear newly elected Emperor Tritor’s name after he is accused of a crime he did not commit. Skull finds love with a Horathian lizard-woman, explaining why he didn’t show up for Samurai.
An entire movie where Doctor O. is trapped in his morphed state.
You’ve Got Mail-style romcom where RJ and Hayley Ziktor are rivals in the food service industry, but after RJ saves her from a master of the obscure dung beetle style of kung fu, they find that they have more in common than they think. 30 Minutes or Less: This Summer, the Internet café wifi password is “love.”
A harrowing tale of veggie chili-addiction, ripped straight from the headlines, featuring Ernie.
Sliding Doors but predicated on Tommy always losing his communicator.
Groundhog Day but predicated on Tommy always losing his communicator.
Inception but predicated on Tommy always losing his communicator.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind but predicated on Tommy always losing his communicator.
Beetleborgs reboot but, get this, the twist is the comic book world is the real world and the kids’/monsters’ collective lives to this point has been the illusion. Jay Leno as Flabber.
There Will Be Blood-style origin story for Rocko, the original Red Ranger of Earth.
You Got Served but the kids fight each other using hip-hop kido.
Alpha’s Magical Christmas reboot as a Jingle All the Way-style caper comedy.
Alpha’s Magical Christmas reboot as a Texas Chainsaw Massacre-style horror thing because, let’s face it, he straight up kidnapped those kids.
Buried from the perspective of the Rangers trapped in the Terror Toad’s gut.
Behind the scenes of episodes 10 and 11 of Ultraman X.
So awesome
Haruka/Yellow Mask from Hikari Sentai Maskman as portrayed by Yuki Nagata. Haruka comes from a very harsh upbringing, being forced by her overbearing father to abandon all things feminine and carry on the family’s Ninja tradition. As such, she is very serious minded and a fantastic hand to hand combatant. She excels at stealth and disguise as well as several martial arts weapons.
Her Ninja background makes her the heroic counterpart to and enemy of Fumin, the Undeground Ninja loyal to Prince Igam of Tube. The two are nearly matched in their Ninja skills and seek to prove who is the better.
Despite of, or perhaps because of, her strict upbringing, Haruka values the few feminine things she is allowed, especially dancing. She even teaches a young girl who cannot afford dance lessons when she is not training or in combat.
Hikari Sentai Maskman and the weapons of Aura Power!
Vul Eagle finds himself on the wrong end of the wrath of Amazon Killer in Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan.
小牧リサ (モモレンジャー / ペギー松山)
Peggy Matsuyama/Momo Ranger (Lisa Komaki) defends a young girl against a Zolder from the evil Black Cross Army in Himistu Sentai GoRanger.
The first appearance and fight of Battle Fever Robo from Battle Fever J episode 5 “Robot Big Dogfight (ロボット大空中戦)”. Thus was the era of the Giant Robot (first brought to us by Toei’s Spider-Man from the year before) given to Super Sentai and nothing would ever be the same.
プテラレンジャー
Battle Fever Robo, the first giant robot in Super Sentai. It is no a combiner, it does not transform into anything, it is just a gigantic, vaguely Samurai-esque war machine built for the express purpose of destroying any giant threat EGOS can toss against Battle Fever.
