living together
Living on a planet where any government is allowed to go through with military action that they know will result in the death of civilians should be gut-wrenchingly painful for all of us. Over 10,000 children have died in Palestine since October 7th, and there is not a single child in Gaza who is not suffering. CHILDREN. INFANTS. I can't stop thinking about all the innocent children we are losing and leaving to suffer every day.
Please use whatever privilege you have to do whatever you can during the Global Strike for Palestine (January 21st - 28th). Contact your representatives. Call for an immediate ceasefire. Boycott, stimulate the economy as minimally as possible, participate in pro-Palestinian protests, educate yourself, and most importantly, amplify the voices of Palestinians.
A few ways you can donate to/support people in Palestine:
eSims for Gaza
Hardcore 4 Gaza
Hirbawi Kufiya Factory
Handmade Palestine (the inspiration for this post)
One of Bisan’s latest updates. I also want to remind everyone she has called for a global strike from January 21 to 28. PLEASE strike. Do NOT spend any money unless it is absolutely necessary. If you are able to, get time off work. Do NOT stop talking about Palestine. Talk about it now more than ever! Conditions are getting worse over there and we need to do everything we possibly can to help. Use. Your. Voice!

GLOBAL STRIKE AGAIN! 12-12-2023
To all friends around the world, you are already making a difference by the strike! You are our voice! But today is not enough. Come on, free people of the world, call for the ceasefire and stop the bombing with a strike. Strike tomorrow for another day. Strike until the massacres stop.
Image 2
Why do we strike?
Because the United Nations General Assembly will vote tomorrow, Tuesday 12-12, on a ceasefire in Gaza for humanitarian reasons. This vote must not fail as the Security Council vote failed. The ceasefire must take place.
Image 3
Why do we strike? A strike is the peaceful civil way to say no! To put pressure on decision-makers, a strike is capable of putting pressure on politicians, who are most distressed by the disruption of the economy!

The will of the people can't fail If we can't shape the world we live in, if we can't stop a genocide So miserable is our life

seriously worried about the declining quality in literally everything, and how impossible it is to find high quality things. plastic ass reduced for quick sale future ahead of us, its really fucking grim
food. fabric. appliances. houses. hygiene products. technology with planned obsolescence. the decline in everything is infuriating
safety, health, liberation for the people of palestine……that is the goal. everything else is just noise.
it is easy to let ourselves fall into despair when reading these latest messages from bisan, from motaz, from saleh….the grief and hopelessness in their words is unfathomable, but it only means that the rest of us have to keep doing everything we can.
i saw someone talk about this on twt as well but once u engage with organizers offline it is clear that the movement is alive and well, that the fight will continue on…..let this grief sit with you and will us all into action, please.
bubbline my beloved
if you live in the us and have literally 2 minutes to spare go fill out the form here -- it will give you a script and also prompt a phone call that will patch you through the the office of your district's representative. specify that you will not consider voting for them again, or for any elected officials, if they don't call for an immediate ceasefire and end to us funding of genocide. jewish voice for peace has a lot of other action items, most of which can be done from home if you aren't able to attend a protest.
GEORGIA VOTERS, LISTEN TO ME.
Over 1,500 ballots in GA have been rejected and we are SO CLOSE to turning the state blue—every vote counts. If you did a mail-in or absentee ballot, go check that it was counted. If it’s been rejected, you can call the GA Voter Protection Hotline at 1-888-730-5816.
Right now, every single vote counts. Check on your ballot and make sure it was accepted.

A big thank you to all the folks in the delivery service who help keep our world moving everyday.
Hey if you're an American and have a moment, consider calling your representatives to urge them to support the post office. The post office receives NO federal funding and is currently struggling because of COVID-19. If it doesn't receive aid it is likely to go under.
The Post Office is incredibly important for rural people (many of whom are indigenous people) because the private shipping companies often cannot deliver to them, or the cost to do so is extreme. The Post Office is vital then for things like voting by mail, medication deliveries and the like and helps keep things affordable for small businesses.
To urge your representatives to support the post office and give them aid, call
(202) 224-3121
This will take you to the capital switchboard. Ask to speak to a senator for your state. Then leave a message with either the clerk or the answering machine saying you urge your senator to support giving aid to the Post Office during the pandemic.
Another thing you can do to support the post office is to just buy stamps! Stamps are good forever, and are a very affordable way to send mail. They even have collectable stamps if pretty stickers are more your style. The Post Office is a VITAL service and trust me, you WILL notice if it goes away or is privatized.
fuck you. this quarantine has taken everything from me. do not @ me if you get dirk. just kidding idc.
find out which homestuck kid you are
@ the people upset that they got dirk: that’s between you and god my friend
