Welp, new Head canon to put in all of my fics now.
Lets see we got, Gay FtM Chase, Lesbian MtF Bree, Bree and Chase are twins, and Chase has DID and Spike is his Alter, and Adam has dyslexia, is Chase and Brees biggest alley, and might be AroAce. (Im not to sure of that head canon yet. It might just be me projecting.)

Plot-irrelevant things that I hope to see in season 2:
-James's birthday date
-Sherlock with slicked-back hair
-Cordedia's family name
-James singing a full song (even cooler if he uses an instrument).
Can I add,
-Sherlock and James kiss and confess their love for each other
Umm so, Sherlock thinks for his whole life that Bea drowned, and is definitely traumatised by that.
From this we can assume that he never learned to swim... And most important, that he is scared of water/swimming.
So... why we still have no fanfic of Sherlock traumatised by swimming and james having to save him/ teach him how to get over it and swim?

I love how Sherlock is so openly gentle and soft with his mother, as opposed to his cheeky attitude with others. At one point in the story, Sherlock's biggest motivation to seek the ugly truth wasn't his intellectual curiousity, but his love for Cordelia. He was so scared and confused, but this boy saw his mother suffering and said this had to end now.
Like, there are fair critcisms for the show's depiction of Sherlock, compared to the original stories. Still, I can't help but have a soft spot for him just for this alone.

This just made me think that, Silas doesn't care if Sherlock dates a guy or a girl. But just not that guy.
Annie Cresta is Covey
let me explain.
Okay so we know that the Covey got rounded up and trapped in 12, correct? But what if it wasn't all of them, what if one or two made it to 4?
Eventually a couple generations later a girl was born, they debated over her name until deciding on Annie. Now there isn't a poem or ballad with Annie (not that I know of at least) but there is one close to it.
Annabel Lee, by Edgar Allen Poe.
Naming her Annie instead of Annabel makes more sense, knowing how much Snow (and everyone else) hates the Covey. And we know from Barb Azure that if the ballad has a double name then they just do the first one.
So they named her Annie, which explains how that's what everyone knew her as and what name she was reaped under, but its still close enough to be counted as (in my opinion) A Covey name.
Now why the ballad of Annabel Lee specifically?
"in a kingdom by the sea" we know D4 has to be near the sea or at least a body of water since its main purpose is fishing.
"The Angels, not half as happy in Heaven, went envying her and me," the Angels in Heaven are the Capitol cizitens, and we know that (most) everyone wanted to be, or thought they were, Finnick Odairs lover.
In the Annabel Lee poem, Poe is singing about his love that died. But with Annie's story, its the opposite.
Its Annie's love that dies, which still makes the poem come true in a way. But in stead of it being 'Lucy Gray was named from a child that vanished then she vanished' its 'Annie was named from a poem about a dead lover, then she lost her lover," which I think might be more tragic but that's just my opinion.
As for the color, I'm stumped, I've never been good at finding colors for Covey names.
Clerk Carmine and Haymitch Abernathy realize at the same time, when CC is playing an old Covey song at hers and Finnicks wedding and Annie knows it.

Johnlock High-school AU
Sherlock and John started dating in the summer between grades. John is a couple of years older than Sherlock, and they met while John was interning at Bartâs and Sherlock was in the lab. In Sherlockâs final year, John is overseas in Afghanistan. One day, itâs discovered that Sherlock claims to have a boyfriend. Everyone (Mary, Moriarty, Anderson, Sally, Sebastian, etc. Etc..) bullies Sherlock about it and doesnât believe him. One day after school gets out, a very hot guy pulls up on a loud motorcycle. Everyoneâs checking him out, and Mary tries to flirt with him. Sheâs ignoring him when he says heâs not interested and keeps badgering him until Sherlock walks out of the school. The hot guy was John and Sherlock ends up running and jumping into Johnâs arms and making out with him. Everyone is shocked, and Anderson snaps out of it to call Sherlock a freak, and John proceeds to punch Anderson.Â

katnissâs first memory of Peeta happens with baby clothes:
She tries to sell the last things she can to survive. When no one buys, she drops Primâs old clothing in a muddle puddle and leaves them there. Sheâs too weak to survive, too weak to kneel down and pick them up. She gave up. She was going to let the community home take themâ give in to the one thing she had fought so hard to prevent:
Then, Peeta tosses her the bread. She doesnât tell us if she goes back for the threadbare clothing, she instead runs home to Prim.
He didnât just save her life, he saved Katnissâs reason to live: preventing Prim from getting taken to the community home.
If we examine this more generally as a metaphor:
Katniss had given up on kids. She dropped the last hope she had about having children in that mud puddle. She spent all day in front of adults, none of whom spared her any food or help. She realized she could not care for herself, never mind a child. The only person who helped her reclaim her position as protector was Peeta.
She was forced to leave the dream of caring for the child behind until Peeta arrived. Until the bread.
So it makes sense he would ask for a child and ensure the safety to care for them in the epilogue. Itâs her going back for the baby clothes. Only now, sheâs not too weak to pick them back up.

Thinking about an AU where Lenore Dove DID manage to survive up to seeing Katniss and Peeta and what that would mean and driving myself a little crazy in the process
the Lenore Dove in Haymitchâs head already seems very fond of them oh my goodness Iâm just so emotional over how much she would be âšMotherâš (in like both the motherly but also the badass sense) I would eat this AU with a spoon LET ME TELL YOU
Haymitch and Lenore Dove Capitol sponsored wedding? đ how much does this change about Katniss and Peeta and Haymitchâs relationship too? we know Everlark will happen anyway, even if Peeta doesnât give her the bread, but I canât imagine a Haymitch with Lenore Dove still driving Burdie and Asterid away so when Burdock dies I can see Haydove helping out ⊠but STILL I mean thatâs not saving anyone from the reaping ⊠but back to Everlark and Lenore Dove because đ„č
I can see Haymitch being so focused on keeping Lenore Dove safe, because she's already been directly targeted, that he doesn't push people away nearly as much at first. Until something happens ( maybe specifically to Tam Amber and/or Clerk Carmine?) And it does causes both Haymitch and Lenore Dove to draw back. But I don't think as much as we see in SOTR
I also think Lenore Dove, rebel that she is, absolutely would sneak out and gives away food and money similarly to Katniss in CF (And nearly give Haymitch a heart attack every time she does) So she'd DEFINITELY be there for Burdock's girls when he passes
Also Lenore Dove would change SO MUCH of Catching Fire!
Her as Katniss and Peeta's neighbor that's always checking in on them (especially because she's lived with someone in their position for decades now), Her being able to tell Katniss about The Covey (possibly as the only members left), Katniss going to her about the rebellion and District 13 because she knows she would be more open to the idea, Lenore Dove knowing about the rebellion because she's the one who inspired it in Haymitch in the first place so you KNOW she knows. (Also her being more of a mother to Peeta than his own.........Giving him an actual adult he can turn to and be a kid around)
Also at the end of Catching Fire....Maybe the Capitol would get to her before Gale could (maybe he didn't even think about going to the Victors Village)...Her being an awful combination of Annie (stuck in the district as her husband is in the Capitol) and Johanna (Actually has information about the rebellion to torture out)
I love this. Also, Lenore Dove being a functional mom figure to Peeta now has my entire heart, as does the like, triangulation of the âparentsâ against each other for rebellion purposes. đ
I do think sheâd have to be a LOT more careful and probably play the role of pretty bird more if she wants to keep Haymitch (and the kids he just kind of adopted in the Capitol) alive. I almost wonder if Lenore Dove would, like Gale, clock that something was wrong and help get people out before the fire bombs. Maybe even Haymitch would have told her what he knew (if he knew) of the Quell plan. Oof I donât know. But OOF the idea of her being captured and in the Capitol is ⊠a WHOLE thing. đźđźđź Haymitch and Katniss would be even more unwell than they already are in 13. See, now I just want all the Haymitch and Katniss / Lenore Dove and Peeta Mockingjay content. The angst. The familial love. The Coriolanus crash outs.
also Katniss having a close female mentor figure in her life, someone close to her father, is something that can be SO PERSONAL. I think we need the fanfic, my friends ⊠I think we need many fanfics ⊠I just want to see the hugs ⊠also, I feel that the other three victors would come to associate the smell of honeysuckle with 1) comfort and 2) sedition ⊠I mean, please consider how insanely proud Lenore Dove would have been of the rebellious arts and crafts in the Quell skill showcases if she ever found out after the war âŠ
Honestly I feel like there's so many opportunities in both scenarios of her getting captured by the Capitol or being in 13 with Katniss and Haymitch, especially when it comes to Hijacked!Peeta, that are so interesting (and heartbreaking) to explore
Her being a person Peeta knew before the QQ3, someone he trusts, who was tortured beside him, helping him in a way no one else could
or, she's in 13, clearly on Haymitch and Katniss's side. Someone Peeta saw as a mother figure on the side of the girl he's been tortured to see as a monster and the confusion and betrayal that comes with it (That he definitely already felt with Haymitch in canon tbf)

Im just going to add this. Imagine if Lenore Dove got captured, they made her into an Avox. (I've read a fic I think, where she got made into instead of dying but I'm not sure about the title.) Like Snow would know that's how you hurt the Covey. By hurting one of there own, or by taking away what they love.... I'm leaving now, before someone hurts me

I think itâs so incredibly poetic that after Prims death, after Katniss is consumed by fire and burned alive, her hair is burned off to the point where she canât even braid it.
Katniss loses one of her most defining and recognizable traits after Prims death.
She becomes a shell of who she was.
And only after Peeta comes back to district 12 (after she washes her hair and spends hours brushing out all the knots) sheâs able to braid it again. As a sign that Katniss is coming back to life. That sheâs slowly becoming herself again. Regaining the will to life again. And only Peeta could give her that back.
(And yes I know that her prep team manages to put her hair in a braid when sheâs supposed to kill president snow, but that was her prep team. Sheâs still a shell of the person she was dressed up as the mockingjay at that point.)

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people act like Katniss wasnât completely in love with Peeta from book one. Ughhh. I hate itttt.
I hate it when people act like Katniss was unreasonable for being confused about her feelings for Peeta and not having time to process them as if the President wasnât at her house threatening to kill everyone she loves. As if she wasnât in the hungers games (twice!). As if she wasnât in the middle of a literal warrrrr.
