If you could have just been a terrible person, then maybe I wouldn't feel so wretched just for wanting to live.

Thank you former twitter user beelunas for the what if scenario involving the Master of Masters holding Strelitzia in front of Lauriam the way Marluxia did Namine to Sora. It gripped me for years, and now I can finally expel it from my mind space.

clearing out old scraps from my fail art program
Sora is a living reminder to Roxas that no matter how far he tries to detach himself from his origins, he will always be Sora's nobody, his personhood tied to him.
What about the opposite? Roxas as a living reminder to Sora that his life never belonged to just him, that his heart was intertwined with anothers from the moment he was born, his place in the tapestry of fate to be giving away parts of himself to everyone.
To the point that Roxas, his own nobody, his other self, doesn't even look like him. Sora gave so much of himself away that a reflection of his own heart looks like Ventus, not him. How much of Sora even is Sora? How much of him was actually just Ventus, that or just what everyone wanted him to be?
Sora smiles through the pain, to hide Sora away from everyone else. He's barely even there, anyways. If Sora still existed, wouldn't Roxas look like Sora?
How does it feel, to look into a reflection and see someone who's not you staring back?
Graven is kicking ass with the optimal build: Sora’s Two Dads (and Unc Genie)
