Hey everyone! As of today, Wednesday, June 8th, WDPA is considered a closed rp for the time being. With the multiple busy schedules, it’s pretty hard to upkeep a main, but we’ve still got the itch to write! We hope everyone understands our decision for the time being and you’re all more than welcome to receive an invite if you’re still interested! Otherwise, we will make any necessary updates about when we’ll reopen again to the RPC.

Don’t worry, we’re still here! 

The spring season has us pretty busy lately and we’ve had to focus on real life obligations rather than upkeep the main. It’s life and hey, it happens! That being said, WDPA is still very much open and rolling along and we’ll be catching our timeline up pretty soon! This also means summer events, new faces, are lurking around the corner and it’s about to be a whole lot of fun around here! Stay tuned!

Meet Annalise Deering! Word on the street is that she bears a striking resemblance to Haley Lu Richardson. She is a First Year Student at WDPA. Currently, she’s open.

→ Once Upon A Time.

Born into a wealthy family, it was no surprise that Annalise got everything her heart desired. If she wanted a new doll, she got one. A new dress? All she had to do was name the color and she loved every second of it. After all, who wouldn’t?

Once she started to grow up, she realized that there was one person who wasn’t happy in their lifestyle: her brother, Scott. Annalise loved him, of course, but in the instances he ran away, the little girl would cross her arms and pretend not to care. 

But she did care. As much as they might not have seen eye to eye (and clearly, she was the one in the right here) Annalise always wondered why their life wasn’t good enough for Scott to stick around. Every time her brother would turn back up, there she was waiting with open arms.

→ The Road So Far.

When the family moved across the country to give Scott a fresh start, it completely uprooted Annalise’s life. While she wasn’t too thrilled about having to regain popularity in a new school, she was kind of excited about the possibility of a new adventure.

As much as she liked to claim to be different from her brother, Annalise also had a calling for something new and exciting and she was sure that Santa Monica would hold all of the answers for her.

Now she can be seen with her close-knit group of friends who have become like sisters to her. Whether they’re shopping, reading magazines, gossiping, or talking about the latest fashion, Annalise is still loving the life she’s been given.

Meet Anna Arendelle! Word on the street is that she bears a striking resemblance to Charitha Chandran. She is a 4th Year Student at WDPA. Currently, she’s open.

Trigger Warnings: Near-Death experience, Parental Death

→ Once Upon A Time.

Anna Arendelle is the youngest of the Arendelle sisters and although her parents weren’t around to raise her, she did her best to make light of things. This definitely came into play when her older sister began shutting her out, refusing to go anywhere for long periods at times, saddened little Anna. She was a stubborn girl, however, like her older sister, and was very persistent to get her to come out and play with her Eventually, it paid off.

As tradition, the two girls would go out bike riding every Saturday at the park until one fateful Saturday, where Anna discovered her sister had powers, but these powers although seemingly cool, put Anna in danger when she plunged into the lake and woke up surrounded by doctors in the hospital after nearly dying of hypothermia.

Shortly after, Anna was struck with grief when her sister distanced herself and she was left all alone to bear the burden of losing their parents in a ship-wreck, but Anna is hopeful. She followed Elsa to Santa Monica, hopeful that the two can rekindle their sisterhood.

Santa Monica has been an adventure for Anna and she’s still bewildered at how time flew for her. Though she doesn’t have any powers, she majored in English, as books and literature had always fascinated a young Anna.

Anna is now a hopeful English major at WDPA, writing beautiful stories that many teenagers have related to from romance to dealing with growing up as an awkward teen. She wants to eventually work her way on being a novelist. She also does some research on the side...about ice magic in order to understand her sister.

In terms of her sister, she’s been trying little by little to talk to her older sister, there’s still a little bit of an awkward tension between them after learning about Elsa’s powers and the damage that can be done with them.

002. The Interview

In this challenge, your characters have been approached by WDPA research students doing a survey on the citizens of Santa Monica. They will be asking a variety of questions that will bring on some deep thought. Citizens are strongly encouraged to answer thoughtfully and truthfully. 

How long have you been living in Santa Monica? What brought you here?

What is your main ambition in life?

Where are two of your favorite spots to visit in the city? Where are your two least favorite spots to visit?

What is your stance on magic? Do you believe in it? If so, what is your stance on magical regulation? If not, why do you believe magic does not exist? 

Did you go to WDPA? If so, describe your experience. If not, what have you heard about the academy? 

How would you describe your experience in Santa Monica? 

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone who is moving to the city for the first time?

Meet Dory Poisson! Word on the street is that she bears a striking resemblance to Margot Robbie. She is a Swim Instructor / Pro-Surfer. Currently, she’s taken.

Dory Poisson is one of the biggest fun loving girls around and the most optimistic. She grew up in LA to Olympic swimmers and she always had a love of the water and archery. 

However, on her 18th birthday, she got into a horrible diving accident which not only almost led to her drowning, but now she would have to live with short-term memory loss. She also lost her memory of where she lived and who her parents were.

That never stopped her from doing anything that she loved doing and because of this, she’s still a normally happy girl with big dreams…just a little bit forgetful. She learned some tricks to help herself remember sometimes like nifty songs and always bringing a notepad with her.

There’s not a day that goes by where you don’t see Dory laughing about something or just goofing off. She’s that funny and quirky girl that’s really difficult to dislike because she’s always putting a smile on someone’s face no matter what the case. 

However, she can be forgetful, sometimes she could forget a person’s name a few times or even forget where she’s living or where she last left her notepad. With the help of her friends, she’s always pointed in the right direction and she’ll always make light of her short-term memory.

Now she works part-time at the school as the Swim teacher. If there is anything Dory can remember well is how to swim. The students love her and even are the ones to remind her they have class.

Meet Harrison George! Word on the street is that he bears a striking resemblance to Henry Cavill. He is a Super Hero/Ex-Military. Currently, he’s taken.

→ Once Upon A Time.

Growing up in upstate New York to the George family was tough to say the least. As the oldest of 5 siblings his parents always looked to him to take charge of them. Which proved to be difficult as Wego “the twins” were always chaotic, Mego always with the sly comments, and Shego claiming to be evil. Which he never believed to be truly evil, always just saw her as the misunderstood one. 

On an early morning at WDPA you could see him rounding up all his siblings to make sure they all got to class on time. Once they all developed their powers fully it was Hego who decided to band together his siblings and become a team of heroes. But this was before magic had been revealed so none were allowed to use their powers.

Shego was the first and only to leave and for a very long time he never understood why. He continued on leading Team Go into being some of the most memorable heroes the world has ever seen. 

→ The Road So Far.

As the team leader of Team Go he is bound to speak at many press junkets about their work as heroes. Sometimes he is even the one to get left behind to work; while his brothers enjoy the luxurious lifestyle of being a hero. 

When it comes to his hero work he can often become a bit of a cliche with his corny dialogue, lack of foresight, and how he seems to be filled with a sense of duty. Somehow the media always seems to love him, and often use him as the symbol of peace for New York. 

Now that Team Go can run without him he’s come back to Santa Monica to take a break from the hero work. Hoping to settle down and relax by the beach for the time being. Though he has set his sights on seeing some old friends of his.
