It really is a testament to how absurd the theft of the commons under capitalism is that one of the first questions to ask before you start gardening is “how do I get dirt”
This poster is a reference to Ned Kelly, an Irish-Australian outlaw legend. Between 1878 and 1880 Ned Kelly and his gang of bushrangers robbed banks and waged a heroic war against the NSW & Victorian Police.
On June 28, 1880 the gang was captured following a shootout with cops in Glenrowan, while wearing full metal body armour.
On November 11 1880 Ned Kelly was executed by hanging in Old Melbourne Gaol.
