Yes, knowledge is definitely power
I promised Dave I'd never use the phrase "fuck nigga" He said, "Think about what you saying: 'Fuck niggas' No better than Samuel on Django No better than a white man with slave boats" Sound like I needed some soul searching My Pops gave me some game in real person Retraced my steps on what they never taught me Did my homework fast before government caught me So I'ma dedicate this one verse to Oprah On how the infamous, sensitive N-word control us So many artists gave her an explanation to hold us Well, this is my explanation straight from Ethiopia N-E-G-U-S definition: royalty; King royalty - wait listen N-E-G-U-S description: Black emperor, King, ruler, now let me finish The history books overlook the word and hide it America tried to make it to a house divided The homies don't recognize we been using it wrong So I'ma break it down and put my game in a song N-E-G-U-S, say it with me Or say no more. Black stars can come and get me Take it from Oprah Winfrey, tell her she right on time Kendrick Lamar, by far, realest Negus alive

Treat us like equals. Men or Women. No genderism, no sexism, no racism. Stop defining roles men or women should forfill.
Hi guys!
Because of the beautiful sunny weather, I wanted to share my adorable le mini pineapple.
KILL YOUR DARLINGS
Hi loves,
I wanted to say my goodbye to THE protective hairstyle. A hairstyle I always felt beautiful in, a hairstyle that would make me comfortable, a hairstyle that would distinguish me. The 13-year-old me could buy long black hair in a afro shop that would make me beautiful. If you take the time to think how beauty, how self appearance is so important at that young age, it is almost shocking. And this is my struggle as a teenager growing up in the nineties!!?!
Teens are growing up with Iphones, Ipads, Macbooks to be online 24/7. Growing up is now how good looking you are on the internet, creating a halo effect and having the most followers and likes.
Are we not living two lives? The real life where physical contact is needed and the virtual reality life. Where we can show the rest of the world how good we are living our lives? Maybe I am doing it right now?! Blogging about topics I want to write about, selecting pictures I like the most and saying that I am listening to a very good song of Little Dragon, what I am actually doing.
OKAY, BACK TO THE GOODBYE CEREMONY!
I was terrified that somebody would see me with my own natural hair. My fro, my curly hair. I would be damned if anybody would see me with my BEAUTIFUL, AFRICAN HAIR!! This protective hairstyle was my savior. But now it is time to show my fro again!
Once in a while you need to kill your darlings.

I fell this evening I fell and stayed down The ground reminded me of you Now my back hurts
TO CATCH A DREAM
The word ‘beauty’ is an understatement if the art collective from Kenya ‘The Nest’ is not mentioned. In this beautiful film you see grief, nightmares, and choices. Choices we would all consider to make, if we would be in the same situation.
I watched this film with tightness and admiration. Not only have they made a stunning short film with the Kenyan model Ajuma Nasenyama, but they also managed to expose us to the thrilling designs of the fashion house initiative Chico Leco.
For more information about Chico Leco, see the link below http://www.thisisthenest.com/chicoleco/
All scenes were shot in Magadi, Lake Naivasha as well as various locations throughout Nairobi. To Catch A Dream was written and directed by Nairobi-based visual artist Jim Chuchu with creative direction by stylist Sunny Dolat.

WORDS WORTH SPEAKING ABOUT
Hi Loves,
I'm in doubt. There is a organization that gives people the opportunity to share their spoken words, hidden poetry and Muze on stage. But I am in doubt.
I don't know if I must do it or not. I really don't have nothing to lose if I share my memories, thoughts, raw feelings on stage with the bright spotlights on, heart beating so fast that I can barely hear myself.
Doubt.
The Next Black - A film about the Future of Clothing Another film that gains awareness about how we live now and consuming clothes. Very inspiring and important for us and for our environment we live in.
This one i find scary yet beautiful.

A good friend of mine joined me to see the exposition of the latest generation of fashion designers that occupies with fundamental questions, like the advantage of technology. It is very inspiring to see these young designers develop, create and progressive in there design with in mind the changes that they are surrounded by.
If you have the chance to go 'The future of fashion is now' DO IT! because it is worth to see it for your self, what keeps our latest generation busy, and what their developments can matter for us in the future. Including the work of Viktor&Rolf, Christophe Coppens, Hussein Chalayan and Rejina Pyo.
