I hardly know you. But… sometimes it feels like we’re the same person born into two different worlds.
Day may be blonde and blue eyed but that is NOT the necessary trait for the actor to have. That's why hair dye, wigs and contacts exist. Hollywood, hello? What makes Day unique is his ethnicity, which is that he is blonde and blue eyed but HALF ASIAN. There are plenty of mixed actors out there who can portray Day very well with the help of hair dye and contacts. There is no need to cast an actor with blonde hair and blue eyes.
You could have come without anonymous and I would answer in private. But that’s OK. I don’t want to argue with anyone. That was my opinion. I think lenses seem a bit artificial. (See Camilla Belle’s eyes in 10,000 BC. Hollywood is not all.) Hair Color, fine. If they can make an Asian actor perfectly as Day, I will love. Just don’t think you really need discuss with all who post their dream cast. What will matter is the confirmed cast and when it to happen… Black boy, white boy, asian boy… We’ll have to accept.

Daniel Altan Wing is half Asian. He is NOT a white boy.
It’s quite hard to find a guy with long blond hair and blue eyes and be half asian, isn’t? Its the main feature is your long blonde hair, so I think this peculiarity in his actor that can’t miss.

About Day Wing:
I know that Day is asian, has blue eyes and is blond. But think, is really very difficult to find a person with these characteristics and that does not seem "false". Marie Lu created a very difficult character to imagination, even more to the cinema. So don't expect an actor thoroughly as is described in the book, will not be. In the end, what matters is the performance.
