PJO MUSIC AU PART TWO;

I’ve decided to just use this part to explain the band “Ride Or Die” lol

“Ride or Die” is a punk-rock band consisting of Clarisse, Beckendorf, Silena, Connor, and Travis. They started playing during highschool, but didn’t get famous until their sophomore year at college. A year later, they got a record deal at Lyre Records.

CLARISSE;

-The lead singer.

-Like, she might not be the nicest person ever, but her vocals are FIRE

-Was actually taught to sing to classical music, but when she was 13, she discovered Punk-Rock, and she’s never looked back.

-The red bandana is her brand. Even in fancy parties she’ll somehow have it incorporated into her outfit.

- Has several thirst-traps of her and beckendorf circling around social media.

- Her voice is so growly and shouty, but her vibrato makes it to where-UGH she’s so good.

- Shes currently dating a cameraman named Chris.

- Shes known Silena ever since 4th grade, so they’re really tight knit.

-To the point where all their fans think they’re dating lmao.

BECKENDORF;

- He’s basically the main vocalist too?

-Clarisse and him sing background for each other, and they switch who sings songs all the time.

-Basically the Dóberman of the band

-in the way that he looks super intimidating, but he’s actually so sweet and polite.

-Is dating Silena

-Never had voice lessons until he joined the band.

-It was great before but now it’s BETTER.

- He used to post covers on YouTube that are still floating around. He cringes when it comes on his page lmao.

- His Mom actually helped get them out there, since she owns a relatively popular radio station.

- The only person who’s allowed to pick on his band mates are him.

SILENA;

-Shes the lyricist, but she also serves as the guitarist.

-Shes always written songs-ever since 2nd grade.

-Gets most of the flack online out of all the band members, because she’s very feminine so people are always arguing she seems out of place with the rock regime the band have going on.

-She pays no attention.

-Just to spite them she’ll wear the most girly outfit ever with punk accessories.

-Petty is her middle name btw.

-Learned acoustic guitar from her Uncle, then when she got into rock, switched to electric guitar.

-Nicest, sweetest person you’ll ever meet.

-Every fan who visits her loves her immediately.

-Wears lots of different vintage hairstyles(victory rolls, an updo, fluffy starlet hair etc)

CONNOR;

-Everyone is constantly getting him and his brother mixed up all the time.

-Anyways, he’s the drummer.

-He was the most hyperactive kid ever, so to stop him from going to Paris and back every time he turned around, his Dad gave him a junior drum set when he was eight.

-He’s never looked back since.

- Is the comedian of the group.

- Pulls random people from the crowd to do stupid shit during their concerts.

-LIVES for crowd participation.

-Has a weenie dog named Frank and he always jokes that he’s their unofficial mascot.

- Certified t-shirt cannon dealer. Every show.

- Lightens the mood whenever things get depressing.

-Says the most random, out of pocket shit that has nothing to do with anything in the conversation.

-“What if humans had blinkers?”

TRAVIS;

-the keytarist

-He makes all the special effects for their shows.

-He also deals with the merch because he likes making shit.

-Plays all sorts of practical pranks on his band mates, and the audience.

-The fuck boy of the band sort of? He’s known for getting with lots of people because he’s hot with commitment issues.

-Wears the most explicitly dumb shirts ever.

- Can be sweet at times though.

-For example, he’s the one who suggested the band name, because Clarisse, Silena, Connor, and Beckendorf were his “ride or die” people.

-Has a bird named Mr.Parrot

-Even though it’s not a parrot.

-He’s at home though, because Travis would never DARE to make him go on tour with him. Poor baby would be so crowded.

- Animal enthusiast. He loves any and all critters.

-Before he was in a band, wanted to make an animal shelter chain

PJO MUSIC ARTIST AU:

Percy;

-His artist name is Black Jackson. (BLACKJACKson?? Get it??? He named himself after blackjack kind of???? Ok I’ll see myself out-)

-Because he was born in Manhattan, out of poverty, he never had much, so he’s pretty much the most down to earth celebrity ever(think Adam Sandler kind of? But more fashionable)

-Advocates a lot for people with learning disabilities, and domestic violence victims.

-He mostly writes inside the genres rock and alternative.

-His first big break was with his original album, “feelyng bleu”

-While we’re on that, all of his songs and albums are spelled wrong. At first it was a mistake, but Percy slowly just made it his own thing. Made him feel a lot better about his dyslexia.

- Is the nicest guy you’ll ever meet.

-He’s also a socially awkward, insecure mess though.

- He starts every concert of his off by thanking his Mother, and asking whether “ his audience is ready to fuck themselves up tonight??”

-Absolute bicon

-Has clips of his funny exchanges with interviewers all over YouTube

Annabeth;

-Just uses her actual name.

-She doesn’t see the point in trying to make a career under a fake name. Nah. She wants people SCREAMING her name from the audience.

-Contrary to that wish though, she’s not actually famous.

-It’s more like…a hobby she does for fun, but also dreams about turning into a career.

-In reality though, she’s an architecture student who really just needs money to fix the damn sink.

- She actually knew Percy WAY before he became famous, since they were eleven actually.

-Annabeths music is more like…alternative folk.

-She uses all sorts of architecture metaphors and terms in her music.

-She doesn’t sing about buildings though. She talks about all sorts of social class problems she thinks are important. The figurative, poetic architecture language she uses is just her musical signature(and a fun way to be nerdy).

-She has a decent amount of followers.

- Is rather cold when you meet her, but is secretly just a softie.

- Is the artist who makes songs based off books and posts them on TikTok (sorry not sorry)

-She also has a podcast that’s unfortunately more popular than her nonexistent music career lol.

- She wears lots of academic looking clothes, but also has lots of flow-y looking tops, and lots of chique Greek outfits because she loves embracing her culture.

- Is friends with everyone from the famous band “Ride or Die” (Beckendorf, Silena, Clarisse, Connor, Travis, and Katie)

Grover;

-Goes by the music name “Child of the W1ld”

-He’s not really a famous music artist honestly? More like a TikTok celebrity.

-He’s famous for his pan flute and ocarina covers of different songs.

-His most popular, aka the one that made him famous, was Celine Dion’s “my heart will go on”

-Posts all sorts of TikTok’s of him playing his instruments in random places lmao

-Is the most cottage core hipster to ever cottage core.

- He and Percy are besties! They support each other whenever they can, advertise, do videos, and just chill out and hang.

- They’re such opposites aesthetically though. People were actually so shocked when they first saw them together lmao.

- Whenever Percy uploads a new album or song, he’ll make a cover of it.

-Not only because he loves his best friend, but also because it’s challenging.

-Wears an alarming amount of skirts, and pants that go halfway to his calves.

Headcanon that satyrs head-butt each other as an act of play, usually reserved for friends.

So after Percy found out Grover was a satyr, Grover got careless and head butted him in the shoulder as a surprise, like as a joke.
