Soaps are bonkers. They knew exactly when Isabel Hodgins was leaving but still timed the story so that she decided one day and then left the next to move to a foreign country with a child without sorting out: visas, what’s going to happen to her house while she’s gone, working any notice period at work, where Harry will go to school etc. etc. etc.. She’s lived there all her life and literally only said goodbye to two people!

I am back with a new Robron poll and it's a big one folks! This time we're voting for the best Robron scenes of 2025. I have included every scene involving Robert and Aaron in a scene alone (inconsequential and meaningless as some of them may be) as well as a select few scenes that involve other characters which are either integral to the plot or contain a line beloved by fans. Basically I've made this as hard as it could possibly be🤪
You can vote for up to 20 options. I quibbled on this for a long time - you were allowed ten in previous polls but there were also half the options - and I want to ensure that a variety of scenes get voted for otherwise it will just be a landslide of the same 10/15 scenes. Don't feel pressured to use all 20 if you don't want to, but you're more than welcome to.
As there's so many options, this time I will only make a gifset/post the results of the options that get votes. If a scene gets 0 votes, then I won't be including it in the results posts I make so you may want to throw a couple of votes to your underrated faves to be certain that they'll be included in the results list. Hopefully this doesn't end up skewing results too much but I don't see the point in making gifsets for every result because it is so time-consuming and I am expecting quite a lot of zeros.
I've tried to include as much detail as I can for each scene by providing a description, quote, date and picture of the scene so that it's easier to differentiate between them.

If they had to pick a character to come back from the dead, and I really don’t think they should be doing that sort of thing, it baffles me why they would choose Graham. I think literally anyone else they’ve killed off in the last 10 years (with the exception of maybe Will) would be more interesting and appealing to watch than Graham.

Glad too that it does seem to be Cain with the cancer and not a Dingle fake out. We all know it’s coming for Aaron at some point but they really shouldn’t burn through his potential storylines too quickly otherwise all we’ll be left with are cheating stories and I do not want to see that!
Aw, I like having Eric and Ken, the two long running old men characters, in a scene together.
I'm a bit miffed that the two most passionate kisses Robron have had in the past couple of months have been with their respective husbands and not with each other.
I'm so mad that the John storyline didn't feature a bit where Aaron got to scream at him that Robert was always the one he loved and that John was nothing. It would have been even better if Robert were there to hear him say it.
Such a missed opportunity.
I know it doesn't fit their narrative that Aaron had his blinkers on until the very end. I guess it may still happen, I'd be surprised if John just pops off to Rotterdam and is never seen again.
Only had to wait 3 and a half months to rectify this. Glad it finally happened.

Hallelujah! They finally fixed my biggest bugbear with the John plot, that they didn’t give Aaron the opportunity to say THIS. it would have been abundantly more satisfying if he’d been allowed to say it to John four/five months ago before he and Robert got back together, but at least he’s finally said it!
It's so much more fun watching Emmerdale without having read the spoilers! This is brilliant.
So it's a who killed Ray plot? Cool.
Aargh! I finally finally get to hear Aaron tell John Robert is the love of his life. I have waited months and months for that. I am so happy.
