Stayin' up late so I can live my dreams. 2013 Planner Lots of fun to work on this, about a month late. (hopefully not a sign of things to come amirite?) Screw post binding with some piano hinges I got from Home Depot for about 5 bucks and some chicago screws I ordered off of amazon. Laser etched type on two kinds of wood (white maple, red oak) Coat of lacquer and a tie to keep it closed. Gonna be a nice addition to my desktop.
Galletas Clandestinas. Here's a short I worked on inspired by all those spanish soap operas I grew up watching. This was a solo project that started during the winter of 2011 and extended into spring of 2012. It ended up being about 3 months worth of work when I had initially envisioned working on this during the winter break. It got a great response when screened at VizaGoGo 19.
A Moonlit Story. Here's a great project I was a part of. This was in conjunction with Walt Disney Animation Studios and took place over the summer of 2011. Our team had a few months to produce a 30 second animation. The teams were lead by industry leads that came down to Texas A&M to offer hands-on guidance and support. I learned a lot and it ended up looking really great. Other members on the team were: Landon Hagan, Chris Simmons, Jared Wright and Stephanie Keske.
Vizagogo Throwies Super cool guerilla advertising technique. Created LED throwies with small strips of paper advertising Vizagogo 18. Did this on Friday night along Northgate in College Station Tx right before everyone came out to the bars. Got a TON of attention. We even had people honking along the street. That's what I call good advertising.
