Book of Job supremacy
The Prosperity Gospel (which I personally like to call the βOsteenian Heresyβ) claims that if you believe hard enough, bad things wonβt happen to you. And if bad things do happen, you either donβt believe enough or did a sin.
The book of Job takes extreme pains to establish that Job has a devoutly sincere faith and is not doing a sin. Satan and God single Job out as someone whose virtue is unassailable. Yet he suffers. A lot. The word βcalamityβ is probably too mild. And Job personally yells at some loser friends who try to kick him when heβs down by claiming he must have done something to deserve his suffering.
The Prosperity Gospel fails on Scriptural grounds in many ways, but Job in particular not only runs it over with a tank, it then throws the tank in reverse and runs it over again.

GUYS! i just home from the gym for context. okay, so i listening to my Jesus music in my truck, in the parking lot. and you know jamming away, maybe mumbling a few words hear and there. i looked up and there was this older man standing there smiling and clapping for me!
i have been struggling with some things lately and now i literally can't stop smiling! i feel like i should be embarrassed because maybe like my music was to loud but i can't bring myself to care.
well i just wanted to share because i felt the need to tell people. so if helps you i'm glad! but if not i hope it can at least bring a smile, as big as mine was, to your face!

well i am trying to read Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen but life has been everywhere so it has been hard to sit down and read! but i recently started to reread Paperboy by Vince Vawter one of my favorites!
Oh nice! I've been thinking about giving P&P another try. I read it a few years ago and it wasn't for me but I think I'd enjoy it more now.
What's Paperboy about?
Paperboy is about a boy who works as a paperboy but has a speech impediment. So he is has a hard time communicating, but with the help of a friend he slowly gets more comfortable. Eventually, at the end, he ends up saving someone from their would be killer.
sorry i suck at summaries but i think that is the jist of it.
