Stand up for Salah and demand that his right to due process.
This NDAA authorizes billions of dollars in weapons, military assistance, and other support that would further enable Israel’s occupation and genocide against Palestinians. It also includes a deeply alarming provision, Section 219, that would further integrate the U.S. military and defense supply chain with Israel’s military and defense sector. To learn more about the NDAA and other relevant defense legislation, check out our explainer here.
Members who stood on the right side of history need to know that we have their backs, and those who voted in favor of the bill need to know that we will hold them accountable. Find out how your Representative voted on the House-passed NDAA here.

Every minute… someone leaves this world.
Not only the old.
Not only the sick.
Not only the weak.
Someone. Somewhere.
Age has nothing to do with it.
Life does not always send a warning.
The truth is… we are all standing in a line.
A line we did not choose.
A line we cannot see the end of.
And the strange thing is… most of us don't even realize we are in it.
We wake up every morning thinking we have time.
Time to hate.
Time to fight.
Time to compete.
Time to prove we are better than someone else.
But the line is moving.
Quietly.
Patiently.
Relentlessly.
And every day… someone steps out of it.
We never know how many people are ahead of us.
We never know when our name will be called.
We cannot move to the back of the line.
We cannot step out of it.
We cannot pause it.
And no amount of money, power, fame, or connections can halt its progress.
So while we are still standing here… while our turn has not yet come…
Let us make peace.
Let us forgive.
Let us stop carrying the heavy bags of anger and hatred.
Let us do good.
Not tomorrow.
Not when it is convenient.
But now.
Let us tell the truth, even when lies seem easier.
Let us be honest, even when honesty comes at a cost.
Let us show kindness to people who may never be able to repay us.
Because one day — whether we like it or not — we will leave this world.
That is the one appointment no human being can cancel.
So what is the point of holding a grudge against someone who could leave tomorrow… or you could leave before them?
What is the point of destroying someone's life, sending a brother to prison, or plotting revenge… when neither of you truly controls tomorrow?
Why boast about money… when money has never stopped death?
Why boast about status… when titles disappear the moment life leaves the body?
Why deceive yourself with power and connections… when countless powerful people stood in this same line before you and still had to leave?
Why fight your own brother over land… when the earth itself will one day cover both of you?
Look around the world.
People fighting.
Families breaking.
Communities divided.
All for things that cannot follow us beyond the grave.
Evil often grows from ignorance.
Pride is the costume of foolishness.
Selfishness is the poverty of the soul.
And betrayal… betrayal is the language of weakness.
But kindness… kindness is strength.
Compassion is wisdom.
And humanity is the greatest legacy a person can leave behind.
At the end of life, nobody asks how much money you had in your bank account.
They ask how many lives you touched.
They remember whether your presence brought peace… or pain.
Whether you lifted others up… or pushed them down.
Whether you built bridges… or burned them.
So while we are still alive…
While our hearts are still beating…
While our feet are still moving in this mysterious line called life…
Let us do good.
Let us love more.
Let us forgive faster.
Let us help those who cannot help themselves.
Let us use the little time we have… not only to build our lives…
But to uplift humanity.
Because when our turn finally comes…
And we step out of this line…
The only thing that will remain…
Is the good we did for others?
May ALLAH guide our hearts to what is right, forgive our shortcomings, fill our lives with sincere goodness, and grant us a beautiful ending when our time comes.
This message is really touchy and I know that you will feel it as well.
It's a food for thought for the wise.
Loneliness
Over the past few weeks, I have found myself reflecting deeply on loneliness.
As a practitioner, I witness many forms of it.
The loneliness within a marriage.
The loneliness after losing a spouse.
The loneliness of parents who have buried a child.
The loneliness of children who continue living without their parents.
The loneliness that follows the loss of a sibling.
The quiet ache left by the absence of a dear friend.
Each story is different.
Each grief has its own language.
Yet every heart eventually arrives at the same place...
A place where words seem too small.
As human beings, we search for comfort.
We search for explanations.
We search for the familiar presence that once filled the room.
But grief teaches us something that nothing else can.
It teaches us that every moment we are given with those we love is an amanah from Allah.
One day, every embrace becomes a memory.
Every voice becomes a longing.
Every ordinary day becomes something we wish we could have once more.
Even the greatest of creation knew loss.
Our beloved Nabi Muhammad ﷺ buried his beloved wife, Sayyidah Khadijah (رضي الله عنها).
He buried children.
His beloved daughter, Sayyidah Fāṭimah (رضي الله عنها), lived through the pain of losing her father.
Grief is not a sign of weak īmān.
It is the price we pay for loving those whom Allah entrusted to us.
What carries us through is not the absence of tears.
It is īmān.
It is knowing that Allah never wastes our pain.
It is trusting that this world was never our final home.
It is believing that every soul returns to its Creator, and that the One who reunited us once in this world is able to reunite us again by His infinite Mercy.
If you are carrying loneliness today, know that you are not weak.
Do not rush your grief.
Take it to Allah.
Speak to Him.
Cry before Him.
For there are wounds that no human being can heal.
Only the One who created the heart knows how to mend it.
May Allah grant ease to every grieving heart, illuminate every lonely soul with His remembrance, reunite us with those we love in the highest ranks of Jannah, and make our greatest longing the meeting with Him.
آمين

⛓️💥The family of Dr Hussam Abu Safiyyah, shows a drawn picture on their refugee tent wall— depicting the journey of Yusuf Alyh Salaam who was first thrown in the depth of a well, then in the darkness of imprisonment, and finally he became the king of Egypt—*proving that great trials lead to great endings, the chains of those unjustly shackled will someday be broken and the very same oppressed will raise to become leaders and honoured ones.*
