Crime Alley born and raised. Still breathing. Not 17. Living situation’s… complicated, but that’s Gotham for you.
Gotham gets loud enough that you stop noticing it. The problem’s when it doesn’t. When the sirens cut out and you can hear pipes knocking through the walls and someone a block over yelling like it matters.
I like cigarettes, staying alive, and not getting stabbed - roughly in that order.
Sometimes things around me shift when I don’t touch them. Not telekinesis. Feels closer than that- like the space gets impatient. Like it’s listening.
Call it a meta thing. Call it a problem. Most days it’s just another reason not to stand still too long.
Gotham feels like it’s ending every night. I’m still here in the morning, so I guess it hasn’t picked me yet.
