The descendant of lightning, Raikou! Can you spot all the hidden pokemon in the painting?
Sleppy kitty
They're just roughhousing (and yes since Shadow is 3'3" he is that small compared to Mewtwo who's a whopping 6'7").
I've been having too much fun in Krita 5.3 lately. The Blender layer plugin is definitely a must-have in my opinion. While it's not the same as how Clip Studio Paint handles 3D models (you're just looking at models/meshes straight from Blender as opposed to having them saved directly on the software), I'd say it's still pretty solid. Here's some things I learned in case anyone wants to try it:
this one's super obvious, but the layer will lag pretty badly if used in a document with a hundred layers (although I guess you can avoid this if you've got enough RAM), otherwise it runs smooth as butter
you can't pose the models themselves in Krita, that has to be done in Blender
you can't minimize Blender or else the layer won't work
you also can't add any new models/meshes while using a Blender layer (if you wanted to draw more than one model, you'd have to add it in before making a Blender layer)
whatever lighting effects you use in Blender will carry over on the Blender layer in Krita (super handy if you're trying to draw a character who's details are difficult to make out, like Shadow was)
Reblogging because of the purple, mutated kitty
Oh, hey, a new post on this side blog that's been collecting dust since its creation! Whoo!
Anyway, I don't exactly remember when I made this, but I think it was back in July of 2024 when I had come back from the beach and got the sudden urge to make it lol
I listened to the Lental Seafloor music from the new Pokemon Snap while making this (I gotta say the OST for that game's pretty forgettable except for that track in particular).
Got super bored while waiting at the mechanics', so I made this super sloppy doodle of Koraidon licking Gerald's face

Sploosh
Thought I'd share some Miiverse doodles I made back when it was still up and running
Aaaand a bonus doodle from Art Academy
You think Weeg likes Turtwig's Halloween costume?
Anyway, I was inspired to make this after I had gotten a Luigi hat and mustache in the mail. The hat was flattened, so I put it on my Turtwig plush to puff it out a bit. The mustache is so poorly made it sheds hairs which might as well be from tarantulas XP.
On a side note, I hadn't been uploading much stuff since my mental health had taken a bit of a nosedive in the last two weeks, but I'm doing fine now.
Turtwig was my starter in Pokemon Pearl back in ye olden days of the DS.
Silly me, I meant for this to be part of the bonus doodle for that candied apple piece but I completely forgot about it until now XD (and I almost forgot to include the Gigantimax form). It took me all day to make this, and I had way too much trouble on that Hydrapple one XP.
Glad I remembered to reblog this before the day ended XD
Candied apples, anyone?
I can't believe I made this whole thing in one day. Then again, I was too lazy to draw the trees myself, so I grabbed some bark textures off Google Images and played around with them until I got something I liked. Man, making autumn-themed images is so fun!
Bonus:
They both tragically lost someone near and dear to them :(
Oops, forgot to reblog this XD
Some footage of the time I got the Wishiwashi school form to eat me up (I don't remember what I did, so don't ask XP).
You know, I have a feeling the guy who made Iron Lung was inspired by this level. I mean, it makes sense given this game came out first, not to mention they both involve a nameless protagonist venturing leagues under the sea in a small craft to take pictures. There's no way that was a coincidence.
I’ve been watching Vinny Vinesauce play New Pokémon Snap and I just adore seeing all the Pokémon in their natural habitats. The different environments are all super stunning but the underwater ones have to be my favorite
I couldn't agree more!
Whoa, you've got wings?! Me too! Lemme show you!
Well, I thought this was cute
I struggled trying to figure out how to draw Shadow's demon spaghetti wings, but I think I did okay even if I simplified the details (fun fact: this is the second piece of fan art I did of them).
Hopefully anyone watching this blog won't mind crossover posts
(holding kyogre like a hamburger) i just think he's neat
Same, same
some sceptile variants for a fic i'm writing

Aww! These are so cool and cute!

Man, I've been seriously neglecting this blog
Anyway...

That is all.
