Finally got around to reading Sunrise on the Reaping, and I already knew everything that was going to happen, but still sobbed. I held it together until the epilogue, then went upstairs and plopped on my sister to cry. Fuck.

confession: heated rivalry/hollanov has got me reading an absolutely ungodly amount of fanfiction, a level that hasn't been seen since 2016, to the point that I think I have to permanent time restrict web browsing on my phone. therapy is required to quit this. why did no one warn me about the addictive nature of these characters before I decided to watch "the gay hockey show"????? someone find me hollanov methadone asap.

I was supposed to spend this afternoon grading my students’ papers (long overdue). Tell me why I just realized it’s midnight and I’ve been on ao3 since 3:30pm?🤦🏻‍♀️ I had this under control at one point. Now that control is long gone. My friend said she’s going to find a way to lock ao3 on all my devices and I might need her to. This is a PROBLEM.

I know I’m crazy late, but I finally had the time and mental space to watch Sinners and I am speechless while simultaneously wanting to ramble. I would literally watch an ant nap if it was filmed by Ryan Coogler.

oh. i just found out that the writer of the vincent van gogh doctor who episode wrote it as a tribute to his sister.

I had felt a little disconnected from fanfiction the last few months, reading microfics and keeping up with mutuals and the occasional fic, but nothing too serious.

Heated Rivalry has brought me back to fanfiction big time, both the HR fandom and the Marauders fandom. Safe to say I’m not sleeping or getting any work done😂
