So, I had an ADHD reveal party yesterday because humour is my favourite coping mechanism and it gave me something to look forward to while waiting to get tested. I celebrated with some of my awesome friends who supported me endlessly during the past few months leading up to my diagnosis.

We had an ADHD reveal cake (the purple filling stands for ADHD, it makes sense, trust me) and I got surprised with a "told you so" cake as well because... Well frankly, I was about the only person who still believed I might not have it.

So, massive thank you to @kayssun, @hexlyng, @jeneco, my other lovely friend who is not on tumblr, and my wonderful husband for a fantastic day and indulging my whims. :)

it’s nuts that the way you meet people that will be in your life for a long time can be so circumstantial and random like if i hadn’t bumped into you that one time you just wouldn’t have been in my life for years to come. unreal that connections can come from anywhere and any accidental happenstance can change your life for the better

i'll forever miss how the internet felt before you had to second-guess the authenticity of every single piece of media you came across. silly videos used to be just silly. fun was coincidental. wonder was just wonder. digital art had character and soul.
