Most of this will be my attempt at ArtWork for various fandoms I enjoy.....They will change depending on my latest obsession favourite of the day :-) If you catch me on a good day I'll even do requests, you only have to ask..... I promise to be nice :-)
Hey! Is there a continuation for the Sherlock failed first proposal fic that you just did? I love it! It was really funny!
Hi. I honestly don’t know yet. The idea came to me on a whim and it’s been that long since I wrote anything I am waiting to see how much that one is enjoyed first! :-)
And that was how we had all ended up in the tiny lab room attached to Molly's morgue watching the current train wreck without being able to stop it.
"I swear Molly, I had no idea that He was going to.....*
"You..." A slender finger, attached to an equally slender Pathologist prodded into my chest. "Quiet."
I stepped back. Entirely glad to be in the company of two medical proffesionals, and a competent Police officer, who would at least attempt to save my life if the murder currently showing in Molly's eyes came close to fruition.
Looking around I could see the 2 other pathologists in the lab sneaking glances over the top of their microscopes at the scene unfolding in front of them.
Greg just leaned himself against the edge of a desk, managing to avoid several vials of something slimy with surprising ease. He had obviously received the same text I had that had and was looking on with a thoroughly bemused expression.
Molly stared at each of us, obviously trying to gauge where we both stood in Sherlocks' latest round of idiocy. And I can lay my hand on my heart and promise that none of us had a clue. Which thankfully, due to the rather sharp scalpel she was currently holding, she appeared to realise.
Molly glared down at our Consulting Detective, who from his current position at her feet who had, for Sherlock at least, a rather confused expression on his face.
"What did you just say?"
The confusion quickly turned to exasperation as Sherlock, rather gracefully, unfolded himself and stood before her.
"Really Molly. I thought that even you would have understood exactly what......"
He never knew what hit him. Molly's hand swept across his face at a speed I'm sure rattled a few cells loose in that skull of his.
"It was a rhetorical question. I though even you would have understood that."
The venom in her voice was enough to make him step back. He looked at us, probably for some sort of support. I shook my head so he turned on Greg who merely shrugged. He was on his own with this one.
Sherlock Holmes on the backfoot. I was starting to enjoy this.
He turned back to our, now not so timid, pathologist.
"Molly. Look. I'm sure you can understand that this would be a beneficial thing for both of us."
I'm fairly certain there was more to that sentence, he just never got to say it.
"My office now!"
Molly reached out and grabbed the lapel of his coat, dragging his much larger frame toward her office. Sherlock stumbled as he followed but, in his defence, he never resisted.
I swear that for a second, just a brief sweet second, there was true fear in Sherlock's eyes before the door slammed shut behind him and he was trapped in a confined space with an angry, armed woman half his size who was more than capable of hurting him in about 78 different ways with a scalpel.
I looked across at Greg.
"Think we should help?"
He shook his head, grinning like an idiot.
"Oh no." The grin got wider. "He's definitely on his own this time. What the hell did He think He was doing!"
I had no answer there. Sherlock was a force entirely unto himself.
We stood in silence for what seemed like hours, occasionally glancing at the door. Waiting for the inevitable storm.
Snatched snippets of raised voices, well just Molly's really, slid under the frame from the office as Sherlock obviously tried to explain his actions.
"W-w-why would you do that?"
I hadn't heard Molly stutter around Sherlock for a long time. This was not good.
Sherlocks' response was incomprehensible. He was muttering. Sherlock never muttered in an argument. This also was not good.
"But you don't even l-l-like me. Y-you don't like anyone...."
It's probable that Sherlock replied, in fact I would bet on it. We just never heard it.
The stinging sound of another slap rang out from under the door before it was flung open and Sherlock stalked out, hands buried deep in his pockets and his left cheek blazing with a Molly sized hand print.
A voice followed him out of the office.
"I swear Sherlock Holmes if you ever come near me again they'll be finding parts of you all over London."
Okay, so she'd stopped stuttering. But now she was angry, and I for one believed Molly Hooper's threat.
The door slammed shut once more.
I turned to see Sherlock pacing the room, occasional thoughts falling from his lips.
"Unexpected......why.......more research needed....should be pleased."
I took one last look at Greg as Sherlock sprinted for the exit.
"Can I leave you to deal with her?"
The loud intermittent crashes now coming from Molly's office had me concerned, but I had a Sherlock to babysit.
Greg grimaced as he looked towards the office.
"Sure, call me later. You know, just to make sure she hasn't dismembered me or something."
I headed for the door, dreading the chaos I would find back at 221b Baker street.
"John?"
I turned back to Greg who was trying so very hard to contain his amusement.
"That went well!"
"Greg. I think if Sherlock ever got any idea about human nature we'd all be in a lot of trouble."
I left, hoping Sherlock didn't manage to find his hidden cigarettes before I made it home.
And that my dear blog followers is the story of the first time Sherlock Holmes proposed to Molly Hooper.
