Read the power of five series. I read it last night. You will find that not even moffat, Gatiss or John Green come close.. 

He is evil.

If “Power of Five” had been written by George R. R. Martin

- Matt accidentally killed his parents with his powers when he was eight.

- Kevin was secretly working for Jayne Deverill. He was killed by her afterwards.

- Noah doesn’t just fall on the sickle. Matt gouges his eyes out with the nails he pulled from the floor and then he slits his throat.

- At ravensgate, Richard catches some kind of radioactive sickness. He’s still looking for the cure.

- Also Richard is somehow Matts real father.

- Nightrise is a religious cult, which believes in the old goods; the old ones.

- The Nexus is a religous cult too that believes in the Five. But really, you can’t be sure whether they are actually better than nightrise.

- Pedro, living on the streets of Lima, worshippes a many faced god. But basically, he just killes people to take their money.

- His powers include fire resistance and liking to set people on fire.

- The town of the last inca is destroyed by zombies after Matt, Richard and Pedro leave.

- Jamie and Scott fuck.

- Jamie and Scar fuck as well.

- Matt is the only one to find true love. He meets a girl. But then she dies. Horribly. Richard is the one to kill her.

- Nightrise likes to flay people so that’s what they do to Scott. And well ... we all know where this leads.

- Scar goes to Hong Kong because her celebrity crush lives there. He’s not exactly what she imagined him to be.

- Her father wants to force her into a marriage. When he tries to withdraw, the old one’s kill him.

- After the others hear about Matts plan of travelling to Hong Kong, they kill him because they think his plan sucks. But the Nexus brings him back to life and they end up doing it anyway.

- Did i mention the characters are like, 11?

- George sacrafices himself for Holly, but she dies anyway

- In Oblivion, there’s this big fight with lots of ice and fire. Everyone thought Pedro would be their lightbringer as he’s the fire guy. But, surprise, surprise, it’s Matt (let’s all pretend, we didn’t see that coming).

- Scott turns on the others and evereybody dies ... oh wait

Finally! The last book of ‘The Power of Five’ series by Anthony Horowitz was released in 2012 and published by Walker Books. Since I reviewed the rest of the series a few years ago now, I’m closing the circle by reviewing this installment in detail.

these r so important

scar: the nicest bed in the world™ with lovely cushions and a proper headboard and memory foam mattress and she’s like in love with it

pedro: lives in a nest. small bed with so many blankets theyre like everywhere he shares his 10 blankets with a couple of cuddly toys that he loses five times a night

scott: crisp sheets…… perfect sheets…… makes his bed every day. hovers under his bed once a week what is this boy

jamie: futon!!!! real hipster real kitsch like cutesy but “laid back” all old wood carefully curated

matt: just a bed but the softest sheets. he buys a mattress topper and it means his bed is so soft so cosy he never wants to leave

scott’s bed is also ridiculously hard and he loves it. fight him about it. sometimes pedro sleeps on the floor. matt’s blankets are older than he is.

matts two soft threadbare blankets r like the most important belongings to him jamies bed is surrounded by photos of them n their friends. and fairy lights so many fairy lights!!!!!!!!

matt has aches and pains and exhaustion but at times He Is Satisfied

jamie loves stars he has gone from nothing in the world to everything in the world to nothing again and that is good

scott doesnt let anyone cut his hair it is his and he has control

pedro has safety and comfort and owns plants

richard helps his strays and looks after himself and likes himself

well a cat has matt

a cat yowls at matt and somehow that means the cat gets fed and sometimes matt wakesup with cat hair on his pillow 

sometimes he goes outside with meaty bits of his dinner like ‘i wanna go out for fresh air’ and the five r like yh whatever and hear an angry yowl and matt’s like ‘shut up im here heres ur food fuck off now’ and the cat yowls again a lil less angry

pedro finds a sick old dog that needs so much love and care and pedros just……….. hes not soft on animals he knows his lot of human pals r so much more important. but dog lying there rotting alive…….

and he heals dog. slowly nd lovingly 

and dog falls in love with pedro

scott has a beautiful boy his best buddy his favourite lilguy babe himself 

it s a fat rat

theres more dogs theres always more dogs

scar and jamie have no one true pet yet

but they are ok with that 4 now

richard…………………. richard starts an animal shelter in a shed. just a structure with food and water and different sized beds and it is for the strays (because we know he loves his strays :) )

I love the irony of the fact that we call ourselves gatekeepers but will accept everyone in the fandom who has literally read one interview about alex rider with a mention of power of five in it and we’ll throw a party and hand them a welcome gift
