People have talked about the misogyny in some Style shippers, what about the internalized misogyny in some Stendy shippers?

I’ve seen SOME Stendy shippers usually water down Wendy’s character as just being the purpose of Stan’s girlfriend, and refusing to focus more on her character individually, which already seems misogynistic, because I honestly love Wendy as a character, while not even shipping Stendy.

The fandom also constantly ignore Wendy’s feelings in favor of Stan’s feelings or love, which is already misogyny. It erases the female character’s story and experiences for the sake of the male character even if she was also in the hurt. Wendy’s feelings and character gets brushed aside so it would not interfere with/or affect the ship, since she is always the one ending the relationship (for a reason). and this feels like female characters are not allowed to have feelings because it contradicts a ship the fandom likes, it is like a female character cannot have their own perspective and feelings because it just doesn't matter to the fandom just because the male character shows he cares at the slightest, which is just misogyny.

Another thing that irks me is when people deny Stendy’s toxicity and emotional imbalance because they’re 10, You do realize kids can absolutely be in toxic relationships, right? Take a look at Heiman for proof. Plus, Toxic relationships aren’t just abusive, manipulating, and neglectful. Toxic relationships can include mutual emotional dependency and emotional imbalance, which emotional imbalance falls under Stendy’s relationship.

People say this to brush off Wendy’s feelings and perspective because it interferes with Stendy and Stan’s love, again. People keep saying Stan’s just 10 thats why he messes up, well guess who’s also 10 (or 9, idk)? Wendy herself.

I’ve always noticed a pattern between them, Almost ALL diehard stendy defenders usually always defend Stan, and acknowledge Stan’s feelings, but never acknowledge Wendy’s at the SLIGHTEST. usually, they just say “yea, she forgives him so its okay 🥰” refusing to dive in deeper about her. (I lowk have names on who do this, but Im not telling for safety reasons.)

the way MOST stendy/stan x wendy fans are just stan fans/stan defenders/sympathizers who dont actually care about wendy at all and only cares about her for the sake of stendy lowk tells ALOT about them. the reason why alot of stendy fans only sympathize with stan is because if they TRY to sympathize with Wendy they also have to admit the fact that wendy is better off without Stan, and, obviously stendy shippers wont admit that because they only care about Wendy when shes convenient (such as when it comes to being Stan’s girlfriend) and I will stand by that.

Seen alot of mfs complain about people not separating Craig and Tweek from eachother, but never people not separating Wendy from Stan, This links in homophobia and misogyny. What I said is more of a problem because Craig and Tweek actually have a more stable relationship unlike Stendy. People who do this don’t actually care about people not separating Tweek and Craig from eachother, they just want to find reasons to hate on gay rep, and I will stand by that aswell.

Seen a stendy page post a video, about the “Follow that Egg!” video, that “the way Stan’s too scared to be partnered with Wendy but wants nobody else partnered with her either” ?? Dude imagine how tired Wendy is. That same page also makes ALL of their stendy videos sympathize Stan and NEVER Wendy.

No, I am not those “Wendy-hating Style shippers” just because I dislike Stendy, I dislike Style aswell and Wendy is my favorite South Park character myself.

I laugh to myself when a Stendy fan assume all Style fans are misogynists, but not talk about how MOST stendy shippers only care about Wendy when it comes to being Stan’s girlfriend.

(Note: No, I dont HATE stendy fully, I think Stendy is cute in the earlier seasons, but I do gain a dislike for them in the later seasons, like from the Raisins ep to the present moment. I just dislike how the fandom brushes off obvious misogyny when it comes to female characters, This happens to alot of other female characters too, where the fandom waters down female characters as an association for male characters, like another female character only being known for being a male character’s girlfriend or the whole watering down female characters as things like “Wendy is female Kyle, Red is female Craig, Rebecca is female Tweek, Heidi is female Cartman” thing.)

Craig and wendy/crendy cousins headcanons because 🥺

1. Those times when Wendy breaks up with Stan I think she’d laugh about his ‘goth phase’ with Craig, since he’s rivals with Stan and his gang in general, so Craig is like fresh air to Wendy.

2. (Platonic Twendy / Tweek and Wendy too lol) Tweek sees Wendy as ‘Craig’s older sister’, so thats one of the reasons why he feels attached to her.

3. I hc Craig and Wendy as cousins, and I hc Craig’s mom and Wendy’s mom as THOSE attached besties, So, When they were babies, Their moms always made them together and match like outfits etc as babies/toddlers LMAOO. Like I can see Wendy wearing a fuckass pink chullo hat to match Craigs as a baby/before toddler 😭

4. Wendy would make fun of Craig’s gayness but when someone else does it seriously she’d be all defensive in a ‘’Only I can insult my cousin.’’ way 😭🫱

5. I see them as those type of cousins who have sibling-like beef, as Craig before Tweek used to make misogynistic ass jokes and Wendy is a determined feminist. Just imagine how their average interaction would be 😭

During Craig was in denial and rejected Tweek after he wanted to be back together with Craig during and after the backyard scene in Tweek x Craig, Wendy was also one of the people aside from Craig’s parents and Tweek himself who helped him overcome his denial due to her outspokenness. 7. When they were younger, They were actually more affectionate compared to their later usual beef. I can imagine Tweek and Bebe (I headcanon them both as cousins too) seeing old photos of Craig and Wendy when they were younger (like example, a photo of baby Wendy kissing baby Craig’s cheek while he blushes from embarrassment) and they both just cringe SO HARD while Tweek and Bebe just laugh at it LMAO

8. Wendy and Tricia actually get along well and team up against Craig whenever they beef. Tricia also looks up to her / admires her 🥺✌️ Laura/Craig’s mom and Wendy also get along well

9. Shinonome siblings (Akito and Ena) energy honestly.. 😭 and a bit of Ivansua cuz they look alike.

10. More of a fact but uhh.. they both canonically have crooked teeth and are both stubborn and assertive in their own ways. + I headcanon them to look similar in a way, in a way that when people glance at one of them it reminds them of the other.

11. In the breast cancer ep where Wendy fights Cartman, Craig only hyped up Cartman by belittling Wendy just so he could show up to the fight to see him getting beaten up by Wendy because he knows his cousin could defeat him..😅
