okay hear me out. Thor and Loki settling in New Asgard, building the city etc. And Thor mentions offhandedly that there's so few Asgardians left now, that they're at risk of dying out completely.
Loki agrees, but his eyes aren't on Thor, instead settling on Fandral who is seated across from them, deep into his mugs, an arm draped over a maidens shoulder, neither of them focused on the brother's conversation.
Thor starts to go on about how they need to encourage the remaining Asgardians to start families, but then Loki nudges his shoulder, nodding over to Fandral. Thor follows his gaze, looking in confusion for a moment before realization crosses his face.
"He's a whore anyway. He might as well be useful to us, don't you think, brother?" Loki asks Thor on the night they invite Fandral to their chambers.
And Thor agrees. It's a simple way to buy Asgard some time; to alleviate some of the pressure off the people. As Asgard's finest swordsman, it's no doubt Fandral will bear strong warriors.
Fandral arrives, none the wiser to their plans. He's expecting a quick lay from the both of them.
They keep him there for days. They treat him well, of course; he is cared for. When the other Asgardians ask what's become of Fandral, Thor and Loki merely respond that he's ill.
A few months later, they finally bring Fandral out. And he only has eyes for the brothers, seeming to only wish to please them as he follows them like a well-trained pet, his leathers and armour traded for little more than lingerie; the thin, sheer fabric pulled taut, leaving no question as to the fact that he was heavy with child.
