Not sure if this was more of a Reddit thing, but it's in my brain like a worm in rich soil, so I'm sharing that I think Loki could say it.

"I NEVER WANTED THE FUCKING THRONE..."

This was my first thought. Now, I like it, but I don't love it. Loki's mind is gone at this point, so I could hear this. But it just doesn't flow correctly. Not nearly as good as that venom-laced, trembling whisper:

"What was it on Earth that made you so fucking soft"

Spoken with those tears streaming openly down his face, without any attempt to hide them.

That would have BROKEN me, my friends. I can hear it in my head when I rewatch Thor 1 and I want to writhe on the floor and claw through the ground until I reach some long-forgotten place.
