That was so funnyâ- I canâtâ breathe.
I hate you.
When he turned around to face her again it was like all the oxygen in the room disappeared and she couldnât breathe at all. It was like everything else that was happening around them paused. It was selfish of them to be in the hallway talking about themselves during a time of grieving but she couldnât help herself. And there it was, the question she was dreading and how could she possible answer it here? She couldnât. âIâ,â Taking a deep breath Gabby paused. âI canât really talk about it here, Wesley itâs not right.â With a small shrug of her shoulders she hoped it would be enough to get the boy off her back for now. Her eyes closed tightly as she could hear the pitch in his voice increase and all she wanted to do was yell back at him but she knew she couldnât. âI loved you, I loved you more than anyone in the world, I left because I did what I thought I had to!â Her voice shook with each word. âWe, we can talk about this somewhere else,â Gabrielle brought her voice back down to a whisper.Â
The Latina followed in Wesleyâs footsteps and leaned her back up against the wall. âWell thereâs a reunion party after this and I think there might be a reunion season in the works,â Gabby talked down into her stomach, she knew he was mad at her and she couldnât bare to look into his eyes. She had no idea what to do or what to say to him just like he didnât know what to say to her but it wasnât exactly awkward. âWe, can talk somewhere more private if you must know everything.â Slowly, Gabby turned her cheek to look him in the eyes, âBut youâll hate me.â And that wasnât a lie, if Wesley left her and never came back because he had cheated on her she would be beyond mad at him. But she would also want to know the truth too, she owed Wes that. âName a time and a place and Iâll, Iâll be there.â The corners of her pink lips formed a soft forced smile. She wasnât going to hold anything back.Â
Without saying another word, Wesley grabbed her hand gently, and walked down the hallway to a door that led them outside of the funeral home. If they were going to talk about this, he wanted to talk about it where no one could hear them incase they began to yell. Of course he wanted to yell, he wanted to let it all out but Wes refused. Crossing his arms over his chest once the door shut, he looked around a little thinking about what to say next. She owed him an explanation, but a part of him didn't want to hear her talk about it. There was only one real good reason why she left, but that wasn't something Wesley would take lightly. "I know, I've never been good for you, and I've never been good enough for you. You don't deserve to be with someone like me, and I don't blame you for wanting to leave. But the least you could of done, was told me." His voice was a lot louder than when they were inside, but still quiet enough to where no one else could hear them.Â
He stuffed his hands into his pockets again, cracking his knuckles; something he always does when he's thinking. A few moments passed by, and Wes sucked in a deep breath turning back to Gabby. His dark orbs were now on hers, and he clenched his jaw for a second, releasing it shortly after. "I can't get over the fact that you fucking left." He said with another cold laugh, shaking his head slowly. "That's what you're best at, running away from your fucking problems. Grow up, Gabrielle. Face your problems, and stop running away." At this point he was yelling, and didn't quite care if anyone heard them. He was upset, and he had a right to be.
the rebirth of gyhab is making my cheeks all flushed and my mom thinks im sick great
Shout out to our haters, we are doing better than ever and Iâd like to thank the members for that. Love squad
Haters? Explain how exactly we're hating please. Sorry that in our opinion, GYHAB changed and we grew out of what it's become. We're not in any way hating. What's pathetic is you taking the time to find our blogs, and making an unnecessary comment about how this is pathetic??? We missed our old characters, and our plots so we brought them back. It's not in any way hating, and our plot was a joke. Seriously, get over it. We all honestly could care less about the new GYHAB and the members/admins tbh lol so focus on your own group like who even are you. bye :~)
Let's just pretend I said something funny, because I honestly don't know what to say.
Wes? Howâs the penis, pal? I miss that thing a lot.
Do you now? It misses you too.
Iâm not looking for an explanation or anything, okay? Just take your jacket, and Iâll turn around. Gabby stopped immediately in her tracks, her hand still on the wall. Squeezing her eyes shut, she let in a long deep breath. His voice rang through her ears, something they hadnât heard in so long. It took her all of a minute just to comprehend what he said. The brunette didnât want to turn around, she didnât want to have to look into his eyes because she knew she would end up crying. Finally, getting enough courage just to turn around, Gabrielle forced herself to let out a small little crack of a smile. For a few moments, her big brown hues scanned the boy in front of her. He still looked like the same old Wesley but he also looked like a complete different person at the same time. Maybe he was taller but it was something she couldnât but her finger on.
Her hand reached out to take the jacket from Wes and immediately wrapped it back around her shoulders. She thought to herself, maybe if she didnât say anything he would just go away but that wasnât the case. Gabby chewed on her fingernails, looking down at her feet as he stood in front of her, it was awkward for a few moments until he opened her mouth again. This time he said something that brought all the memories back to her. âSame old Wes, I see. But youâre the ugly one, just look at you.â She let a small laugh out, fixing the jacket on her shoulders. It couldnât possibly have been âniceâ to see her again, it mustâve been torture for him because it was for her. Even though this day wasnât about any of them, she couldnât help but make it about herself. âIâItâs nice to see you too, Wes.â She stuttered, forcing an obvious smile on her face as a tear rolled down her cheek. âIt uh, sucks that we have to meet again under these circumstances.âÂ
Watching as he slowly walked down the hallway that seemed to go on forever, the Latina wasnât sure if she should stop him or just to continue on ignoring him like she did for the last year and a half. âYou,â She said under her breath before taking another deep breath. âYou know, I did miss you everyday I didnât leave because I didnât love you or anything like that,â Her eyes were focused on his back, basically burning a hole threw his shirt. Gabrielle had no idea where this conversation would take them or if she would spill the truth on why she ditched but a part of her did really want to talk to Wesley, not about the past, about the present and how he was doing. All that she hoped was for him to turn around and not ignore her like she did, even though she knew she deserved it.Â
It didn't take much for the boy to stop, but he kept his back towards her listening to the sound of her familiar voice. He slowly closed his eyes, resting a hand on the wall to stop himself from turning around quickly. Wes wanted to yell, to curse, to leave Gabby like she left him; but he stayed still. The boy finally turned around, taking his bottom lip between his teeth, and looked back down at the ground as he walked over to the Latina. To be honest, he didn't know what to say. Today was supposed to be about the loss of someone they were all once close with, but to him, it wasn't about that at all. It was about Wesley's loss; what he lost a year and a half ago. He managed to keep his hazel orbs from meeting Gabby's, knowing that if he looked into them he'd start feeling things again, and he didn't want to feel. Wes was content with being numb, and emotionless, and that's how he wanted to keep it for now.Â
"Then why did you leave?" His voice was faint, barely even audible but just loud enough for Gabby to hear him. "I let you in, I loved you, and you left." Wes' voice got louder with every word he spoke, and he bit his lip hard to hold back from saying any more. A cold chuckle came from his throat, and he shook his head finally looking at the Latina that stood in front of him. "I don't even know what to say right now, Gabby." Wes took a few steps back again, leaning against the wall and shifted his eyes to look back up into Gabby's. It was silent for a second in the hallway, too silent for Wesley's liking. He spoke up again, this time his voice was much calmer, "How long uhâ how long are you in town for?"Â
It had been almost a year and half since her reign in the Give Your Heart a Break house had ended. Slowly but surely everyone was moving on with their lives, everyone was growing out of the house; they all wanted to be on their own not surrounded by cameras. Gabby included. She wanted to find herself and figure out what she really wanted out of the world. Because at that point she was nothing but a fuck up, she ruined almost every relationship she had. Especially the one that meant the most to her; Wesley. He was everything to her and she was to him. They had a bright future ahead of them and everyone knew it. They were one of the only GYHAB couples who didnât get destroyed by being there. But somehow Gabrielle managed to fuck that up too. One day the stress of just being in the house got to her, she was tired of all the bullshit and decided to drink her sorrows. No one in a million years thought Gabby would be the one to cheat, she was a good wholesome girl, or, so they thought. It was a low time in her life when nothing mattered, just herself.Â
Instead of telling Wes what had happened Gabby did what she always does and fled. She didnât even come back to the house to pack all she did was take the next bus far away as she could. She completely left her old life and tried her hardest to forget about the Give Your Heart A Break house and everyone in it. The brunette was convinced the house was toxic, for almost two years she witnessed how badly it tore people apart, her included and she was tired of it. Yeah, she overcame her disorder and got healthy again from being in the house but that didnât stop it from all coming back again. Somehow someway, Gabby was right back where she started. How could she let herself being everyone she loved down with her again? She couldnât, which is why she had to leave.Â
Fast forward to the present and not much has changed; she still hasnât talked to anyone from her past, except family. But now she found herself, Gabrielle figured out how to make herself happy, she had to learn to love herself before she could ever love someone else. She needed to stop letting people walk all over and she has. Everything was slowly but surely falling back into place for the girl.Â
Death was always a sad thing even if you didnât know the person, it was sad. When Gabrielle found out one of her best friends from the infamous house had past away she dropped everything and was on the first flight out to Los Angeles. She knew that everyone she ran away from would be there, everyone would want to ask her questions or not even talk to her at all. Who would want to talk to someone who just simply never came back? She never said goodbye to anyone. Letting the thoughts slip her mind, Gabby threw a jean jacket over her shoulders, tied her hair up in a bun, slapped on some heels and headed out. Her eyes wondered around her surroundings, the beautiful green palm trees, the smell of the ocean filled her nostrils causing her to smile slightly. Not even a death could stop California from looking so nice and calm.Â
As she approached the funeral home she could feel the tears running down her cheeks, all the emotions flooding back. How could she be dead? She was so young? Shaking her thoughts from her mind, Gabby put one foot in front of the other and continued up into the funeral home. The latina scanned the place, it was filled with people crying and the cheesiest flowers one could findâŚ. And thatâs when she saw them, everyone from the house and Gabrielle couldnât help but smirk to herself. Even if she didnât want to admit it, she missed every single one of them. Playing with her hands, Gabby stood in the corner of them room as she tried not to be noticed. And it seemed to be working or everyone was just ignoring her which she didnât really mind at all. Gabrielle just enjoyed watching everyone reminiscing about the house and all their memories.Â
But that was when he walked in, and her eyes fixed on the boy as soon as he stepped foot in the home. Wesley looked exactly how she remembered him maybe even a little better. Gabrielle couldnât help but let out a small chuckle noticing the intent in his hair from a snapback. Wesley was addicted to wearing snapbacks and it made her feel content knowing he still was. Memories flooded back, Gabrielle was soon forced to remember all  the trips GYHAB made them take and how Wesley always made them so much better. Their relationship was different than most. They always fucked with each other and called each other names but also knew how to be loving at the same time. They were a one of a kind love, something that could never be replaced.Â
Now, the brunette had been starring at him when she noticed he was starring back. âFuck,â She whispered to herself and made a quick turn out of the room causing her jacket to fall in the corner where she was standing. Gabrielle couldnât face him, she couldnât tell him the reason why she left it would just make everything so much worse. This time she was the one in the wrong and she didnât want to hurt him anymore than she already had. The Latina slid down an empty hallway of the funeral home in hopes the boy wasnât following her but at the same time hoping he was. Taking deep breaths, Gabbyâs nails scratched down the side of the wall while she walked down the never ending eerie hallway. She tried to focus her thoughts on something other than Wesley but she couldnât seem to.Â
Memories are the way of holding onto the things you love, the things you hold dearest to your heart, wherever this stupid quote came from, it was true. Every now and then, Wesley would flip to a random channel, and of course, it always turned out to be GYHAB. At this point, he wasn't even sure if he was flipping to the channel on accident, but on purpose instead. He'd be lying if he said he didn't miss the house, because he did. So many memories came flooding back into his mind, and each time he'd tried to shake them, they'd just come right back. There were so many people he left behind, but that didn't add up to the amount of people that had left him before then. Gabby was one of the few people that Wes let inside of his small bubble, and of course, once he let her in, she left. She left without saying a word, and the pain in his chest was almost unbearable. It hurt, but instead of talking about it, the boy closed himself off to everyone around him and turned back to drinking.Â
He managed to keep himself from thinking about GYHAB for months, until he got that call that he was sure everyone else had gotten too. Hearing that one of his close friends from the house had passed, Wes set down his phone and refused to talk about this with anyone until the day of funeral had came. To be honest, he wasn't looking forward to seeing anyone that day. He just wanted it to be over with, so he could head back home and get on with his life. The drive over to where the funeral was being held didn't take him as long as he'd wished it would, and he arrived within minutes. He was never the one to be on time for anything, but luckily he wasn't the only one who was arriving a little later. He got out of his car, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his pants and walked into the funeral home. The boy scrunched up his nose a little, looking around, not to find anyone in particular, but to keep his distance from everyone he was close to in the GYHAB house. It wasn't until his hazel eyes met a familiar set of dark brown orbs when his heart felt like it had dropped into his stomach.Â
Before Wesley would turn around and make a quick exit, Gabby was already gone. A part of him wanted to leave, to forget that he even saw the Latina there but another part of him was so pissed at the fact that she left, that he wanted to find her. With a slight eye roll, Wes walked to the corner where Gabby was once standing and picked up her jean jacket that she had left behind. The familiar scent was almost too much for him, but he shook it off and walked after the girl. He wasn't too sure where she had went, and if it was a good idea to follow her, but the least he could do was give Gabby her jacket back. He turned his head in both directions of the hallway, and slowly starting walking in the direction that Gabby was in.Â
"I'm not looking for an explanation or anything, okay? Just take your jacket, and I'll turn around." He said with a sigh, and continued down the long narrow hallway until he had finally caught up with her. Gabby didn't look too different, but in a way she looked more grown up. He took a deep breath handing the Latina her jacket, and took a step back crossing his arms over his chest. At this point, he didn't know what to say. All he wanted to do was yell at her for leaving him when he needed her most, but this day wasn't about them and he didn't want to cause a scene. Right as he was going to speak up, something stopped him and he cleared his throat taking a few steps back. "A year and a half passes by, and you're still ugly." The corner of his lips curled into a soft smirk, indicating that he was just joking. "It's nice to see you again, Gabrielle." Wesley nodded his head, and turned around trying his best not to say anything he'd regret. The boy wanted her to speak up, to tell him why exactly she left, but a part of him didn't even want to know. If it was so bad to the point where she left without warning, did Wes really even want to know? He looked down at his shoes as he started walking down the hall back to where everyone else was, hoping that Gabby would stop him.
