Hey everyone! It's been fun hanging out with you all this week! Thanks for letting me share myself with you a little bit. I'll end this week with a poem I wrote about our state flower 🌸🌻 Oh pretty little columbine, All you feel is the sun shine, But, if only you knew  That you behold the best view. Clothed with satin and violet  You get to see the best sunset  So I'll sit here and appreciate, The prettiest view in the state,  I'll tell you about the Crestones  And describe their colorful tones  And the fish jumping in the alpine,  And I'll appreciate every rock line.  You grew high above all your peers,  And I hope you will come back for years, I'm happy such a beautiful flower,  Completes this beautiful view of that beautiful tower. Hey! Lisa here again! 🌲 I once read that in ancient times a tribe in Central Asia made a curse or wish over their enemies that went along the lines of “May you always stay in one place forever.” The worst thing that they could on their enemies was to wish that they never grew or changed. As people, we have the need to grow, to change, to learn and to become better versions of ourselves. That might be why I like mountains so much. Hello everyone! I'm Lisa (@paintthemountain ) and I fell in love with the Sangres de Cristos when working on a project where I climbed and painted views from all of Colorado's 14,000 ft peaks. What I love the most about this unique range is the mysterious weather patterns that present challenges both as a mountain climber and as an artists.
