also not to fall for armand de liars lies but I actually DO buy that louis knew he was stalking daniel bc. frankly there were multiple moments during daniel's time in dubai where louis was kinda acting as if daniel was their joint boytoy lmfao. AND he was originally planning on the book essentially being a suicide note. AND the "suprise" they had prepared for daniel at the end of the interview we never got to. I can DEFINITELY see a world where louis and armand make stalking and caring for this random human like a Thing in their relationship and when the human was nearing the end of his life and louis was feeling suicidal again he thought to himself, "well, I guess it be shitty of me to just leave armand all alone? and daniel's gonna die soon? armand will need company" now I DONT think louis wanted to turn daniel without explicit consent but I DO think the "surprise' was going to lead up to them offering vampirism to him
