Elise theme 1.9

New version fix few things and add some new features. Previous Twitter feed is broken on Tumblr side, so I replaced it with official Twitter widget. If you want to enable it, you must turn ON "Sidebar show twitter feed" option and type in your Twitter username to "Twitter username" option.

Added option for email address as social icon, also Instagram and Google+ icons in social links section updated. Instagram feed is now shown in footer by default but can be displayed in sidebar as well. In this update there are also new option for picture links available and few minor bug fixes.

Elise theme 1.8 - Fixed Instagram feed and Facebook comments added.

Instagram feed was temporary removed in previous version because it was not working after Instagram 1 June API reset. This version re-adds Instagram feed to Elise theme. I’ve also added Facebook comments widget as an alternative to Disqus comments. These two are main features added in this version but there was also other fixes and changes.

Elise theme update 1.7e - auto header height option and previews for link posts.

New version of Elise theme adds preview pictures for link posts, separate option for tweets link color, color option for tag/search pages text and new option for header height. Now you can set header height to ‘auto’ and it will be proportionally scaled to browser width. There is also few fixes for reported issues, more in changelog inside theme documentation ( http://elise-theme.tumblr.com/documentation ).

Missing header fix:

Header height option was reseted again and if your header image is missing after this update, change “Header height” option to any other value and save changes.

Header image parallax re-added to Elise theme

New version bring back old ‘Header parallax’ effect option. Parallax effect was removed when new style header was added. After some changes in the code its now back. It works with new and old style headers. There are also two new options for forcing links to open in new tabs: first for links in navigation menu and second for links in social links widgets. There was also some fixes for other minor issues.

Elise theme updated to 1.7

First I would like to apologize for that issue some blogs had after this update. Missing header image should be fixed for all blogs now.

Two header styles

New versions adds a new header style. By default it is set to new one but you can change it by using “Header style” option. I received many messages from people that liked old header style better than new one and I decided to release another small update in next few days. I will try to make ‘old style’ header to look exactly like header from older version of this theme.

Update for Elise theme

Elise theme is updated to version 1.6b. New version adds Last.FM social icon and secondary ‘links’ dropdown menu. There are also many fixes and some changes to the main navigation appearance.

Quick update for Esten theme

I updated Esten theme to version 1.2d. Main reason for this update was issue with photosets. Previously, when you had more than one photoset on the page and you opened picture from any photoset in lightbox view than navigation arrows let you see pictures from other photosets. This was not intended and now it’s fixed. Also videos and other embeds inside text posts should now have proper height.

Elise theme 1.6 - pinned posts feature

New version adds pinned posts feature, captions for individual photos in photosets, masonry captions below pictures (read below), personal website and Tumblr icon for social icons widget and few other small changes and fixes.

In masonry layout you can now choose between captions below pictures (default) or captions visible only when you hover over picture.

Queis theme 1.3

New update adds posts spacing option, option for logo instead text title, Instagram feed, EXIF data for photos and more. Also max. number of header images is increased to 5.

This version also include two new special tags feature. Tags ‘_caption-left’ and ‘_caption-right’ allows you to have picture and it’s caption to be displayed side by side on permalink pages and when opened in lightbox. This tags works for photo, photosets, audio and video posts.

New version for Esten theme

I updated Esten theme to version 1.2c. I’ve added more font options. Now you can set different fonts for main text, header captions, post titles, navigation and footer labels. This version also adds new and easier way for adding Google font and option to choose single post width.

Elise theme 1.5c

There was small update yesterday. Now you can change font size of post titles, post text and spacing between posts.New version also fixing some issue with photosets post on masonry layout.

Elise theme updated and fixed

I made two small update recently (version 1.5a and 1.5b). All previous issues with no posts on homepage and single posts pages not being centered should be fixed now.

Version 1.5a also adds option to display photosets pictures as slideshow even in masonry layout.

Problem with Elise theme 1.5

When I was adding photosets slideshow feature for masonry layout, I made mistake in JavaScript. If you use masonry or grid layout and don’t have any photoset on homepage then script ending up with error, which leads to not showing any posts.

I'm sorry for inconvenience. I have already fixed that issue in JavaScript and uploaded version 1.5a to Tumblr.

Now we must wait for Tumblr to accept new version. It takes usually from few hours to even 2 days. I hope it will be fast this time.

I finally added masonry layout and two columns layout. Masonry will be default theme for version 1.5.
